Musa عليه السلام went from a prince to an outcast, from an outcast to a shepherd, from a shepherd to a prophet. Life is meant to be up and down. The rises and falls remind us of the transient nature of the life of the dunya. So tire not yourself by worrying about tomorrow, rather turn back to the remembrance and appreciation of Allah with full, heart-felt submission at this very moment. He knows where you should go. Put your trust in him and follow the lead. You didn't randomly end up being here, you are here right on schedule.
"Then you came [here] at the decreed time, O Moses."(Quran 20:40)

A lot of people attend islamic lectures because of the speaker, not because of the message. So we leave the gathering with little benefit. Sad.

{And Allaah knows while you know not}

The delays in your life are there for a purpose and behind them is Divine Wisdom which only Allaah knows. So surrender your affairs to Allaah and trust Him, and don’t be disheartened nor lose hope.

Behind every patience there is a beautiful affair, and know that what has passed you by [and you have failed to attain] was not going to befall you, and what has befallen you was not going to pass you by. And know that victory comes with patience, and affliction is followed by relief, and hardship is followed by ease.

From Al-Hasan Al-Basari who said:

❝Indeed the believer in this Dunyaa is like a stranger, he does not surrender to the humiliation of the Dunyaa, nor does he compete with the people of the Dunyaa for the honour of this Dunyaa.

The people according to him are relaxing, while his soul according to himself is busy [with the Hereafter]. As a result Toobah [a tree in Paradise] is for the slave of Allaah who earns goodness and submits a virtuous action for a day when he will be poor and in need. [i.e. the Day of Judgment].❞

Asalamu Alaykum,🌸

What to recite on Ruqya water 💧 (use zamzam water if you have it available, otherwise please use mineral water, or tap water for those who can't afford either).

For those who wish to go the extra mile and recite a few powerful verse. Here's compilation of verses you can recite on your Ruqya water. Best to drink it on an empty stomach 3x a day whilst listening to Ruqya and also add it to your bathing, oils and any ruqya ingredients InshaAllah.

NOTE: The standard ruqya verses must be recited on every item/product used in ruqya such as water, oil, herbs.

Once you recite this blow and spittle lightly on your water. You can recite minimum 7x each verse. Or if your affliction is quite strong I recommend reciting a minimum of 1 hour or max of 3 hours inshaAllah. Do what you can and don't overburden yourself. Some people also recite each verse 7x a day for a week to make it stronger to break up the time and make it easier.

The Prophet (ﷺ) used to offer prayer (salah) whenever he was overwhelmed by a problem or faced a difficulty. This is because the one who prays begins communicating with Allah and he surrenders all of his affairs to Him. Allah commences the denoscription of the characteristics of the believer, those who are the dwellers of Paradise and the dwellers of Firdaws (the highest level of paradise), with prayers and ends with prayers. He says:

"Successful indeed are the believers. Who are humble in their prayers." [Al-Mu'minūn 1-2]
And towards the end:

"And those who keep a guard on their prayers. These are they who are the heirs, who shall inherit the Paradise; they shall abide therein." [Al-Mu’minun 9-11]

Similarly Allah says:

"Surely man is created of a hasty temperament. Being greatly grieved when evil afflicts him. And withholding when good befalls him. Except those who pray. Those who are constant at their prayer." [Al-Ma'arij 19-23] And Allah concludes saying:

"And those who keep a guard on their prayer. Those shall be in gardens, honored." [Al-Ma'arij 34-35]

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله says:

“For the tongue does not keep quiet at all. It is either a tongue that remembers or a tongue that is frivolous and it has to be one of these two.

It is the (nature of the) soul; if you do not preoccupy it with truth, it will occupy you with falsehood. It is the (nature of the) heart; if you do not accommodate it with love of Allāh, it will dwell with love of creation and this is a certain reality. It is the (nature of the) tongue; if you do not preoccupy it with remembrance, it will most definitely occupy you with frivolity.

Thus, choose for your own self one of the two courses and confer upon it one of the two standings.”

Rushing In Recitation Of Qurʾān Is Blameworthy

Prophet Muḥammad Ṣallallāhu-ʿAlaihi Wa Sallam said:

سيخرج أقوام من أمتي يشربون القرآن كشربهم اللبن

“There will emerge groups of people from my Ummah who will drink Qurʾān like they drink milk (i.e they would recite Qurʾān without pondering upon its meaning and rulings).”

📚True Intelligence

Imām Ibn Taimiyyah, may Allāh have mercy on him, said:

No one can be called a person of intelligence or understanding unless he’s come to know what’s good and then sought it and [come to know] what’s evil and then left it. For this [reason], the People of the Fire say:

{ لَوۡ كُنَّا نَسۡمَعُ أَوۡ نَعۡقِلُ مَا كُنَّا فِیۤ أَصۡحَـٰبِ ٱلسَّعِیرِ }

If we had listened or tried to understand, we would not have come to be among the People of the Fire. (Al-Mulk, 10)

And [Allāh] says about the hypocrites:

{ تَحۡسَبُهُمۡ جَمِیعࣰا وَقُلُوبُهُمۡ شَتَّىٰۚ ذَ ٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ قَوۡمࣱ لَّا یَعۡقِلُونَ }

You think they’re all together [upon the same thing], but their hearts are far apart from one another; that’s because they’re a people who don’t think and understand. (Al-Ḥashr, 14)

The rich are the lowest on Judgment Day, unless they’re charitable…

“Those who live to accumulate riches will be the lowest, except for one who gives away such wealth, but those are few.”

Abu Dharr (may Allaah Azawajal be pleased with him) reported:

“I arrived at the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who was sitting in the shade of the Ka’bah and saying, “They have the greatest loss, by the Lord of the Ka’bah, they have the greatest loss, by the Lord of the Ka’bah.”

I said, “Who are they? May my mother and father be sacrificed for you, O Messenger of Allah!” The Prophet said, “The greatest in wealth, except for those who spend like this, or this, or this.”

Ibn al-Zubayr (may Allaah Azawajal be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

“If the son of Adam had two valleys full of wealth, he would desire a third. A Short Bio Of Ibn ‘Abbaas

Ibn ‘Abbaas used to pray qiyaam regularly: Ibn Maleekah said: “I accompanied Ibn ‘Abbaas from Makkah to Madeenah. He used to pray two by two, and he would spend half the night in prayer, reciting the Quraan slowly, letter by letter, and weeping and sobbing a great deal.” [Al-Muttaqa, 7/270]

Ibn ‘Abbaas wept so much that traces of that were left on his cheeks: Aboo Raja’ said: “I saw Ibn ‘Abbaas, and the bottom of his eyes was like a worn out shoelace because of weeping.” [Siyaar A’laam An-Nubulaa’, 3/352]

Ibn ‘Abbaas was very generous and acknowledged the status of the senior Companions: Once Aboo Ayyoob Al-Ansaari was going through some financial difficulties and was burdened debts. He came to stay with Ibn ‘Abbaas, who emptied his house out for him and said: “I shall do for you what you did for the Messenger of Allaah (saw) [i.e, inviting him over just as he had invited the Messenger over when he (saw) first came to Madeenah]. Then he said: “How much is your debt?” Aboo Ayyoob said: “Twenty thousand.” So Ibn ‘Abbaas gave him forty thousand, and twenty slaves, and everything that was in the house.” [Al-Hilyah, 1/324]

The sermons of Ibn ‘Abbaas: Aboo Waa’il said: “Ibn ‘Abbaas addressed us when he was the leader of the hajj. He started to recite Soorah An-Noor, reciting and explaining the meaning. I have never seen or heard a man who speaks like that. If the Persians, Romans and Turks heard him, they would become Muslim.” [Siyaar A’laam An-Nubulaa’, 3/351]

Masrooq said: “When I saw Ibn ‘Abbaas, I thought he was the most handsome of people. When he spoke, I thought he was the most eloquent of people. When he preached, I thought he was the greatest of people.” [Siyaar A’laam An-Nubulaa’, 3/351]

The gatherings of Ibn ‘Abbaas: Al-Qaasim Ibn Muhammad said: “I never saw any talk of falsehood in the gatherings of Ibn ‘Abbaas.” [Siyaar A’laam An-Nubulaa’, 3/351]

Poor? Cannot buy a house in Duniya? Living salary to salary in rented places?
Feeling sad about this?

Firstly, you are not alone. A lot of people live like this. It just means Allah has given you rizq in another form. A loving spouse, healthy children, great friends.

If not owning a house is worrying you or upsetting you, know this is temporary. This struggle of not owning a house is temporary.

The good news is you can start building your real estate in Jannah. What is better?
This Duniya and a little house in this temporary duniya or Janah and an eternal aboard in Jannah?

You have to do 2 simple acts of ibadah which will gain you reward in this Duniya and in Jannah as well.

🌸 FIRST IBADAH:
Recite this and design your own lavish garden. Recite as huge as you want the garden to be inshaAllah :)

Jabir narrated that :
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Whoever says: ‘Glory is to Allah, the Magnificent, and with His Praise (Subḥān Allāhil-Aẓīm, wa biḥamdih)’ a date-palm tree is planted for him in Paradise.”
[Tirmidhi - https://sunnah.com/tirmidhi/48/96]

🌸 SECOND IBADAH
Give up arguing as much as you can. Every time you want to argue imagine your house in Jannah.

Abu Umamah Al-Bahili (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "I guarantee a house in Jannah for one who gives up arguing, even if he is in the right; and I guarantee a home in the middle of Jannah for one who abandons lying even for the sake of fun; and I guarantee a house in the highest part of Jannah for one who has good manners."
[Abu Dawud - https://sunnah.com/riyadussaliheen/1/630]

Focus on building eternal real estate.

Allah grant us homes near your arsh in al firdous al alaa ameen!
