Imam al-Dhahabi mentioned the following quote in his Siyar A’laam al-Nubalaa:

Qatadah said: Muslim ibn Yasaar said the following regarding al-Qadr:

al-Qadhaa’ wa’l-Qadr are two deep valleys which the people travel through but will never know their true depth. Therefore, perform the deeds of a man who knows that only his deeds can save him, and have the tawakkal of a man who knows that only what Allah has decreed for him can happen to him.

From the Effects of Mixing with Bad People

Shaikh Fawāz Ibn 'Alī al-Madkhalī said:

Al-Khattabī, may Allāh have mercy on him, said:

Someone [once] said: ❝Keeping the company of bad people leads to having suspicions about those who are truly sincere and good.❞

Kitāb al-'Uzlah, p. 416.

Do Not Befriend Evil People

Ibn Rajab Hanbalī (رحمه الله‌‎) stated:

❝Keeping the company of evil people causes one to have contempt for the righteous; and whoever befriends evil people, he is not safe from entering their ranks.❞

Do You Want Reward for Doing Ḥajj 7 Times in One Day While in Your Country?

From the fawaid of Shaykh Sulaymān Ar-Ruḥaylī حفظه الله

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever leaves his house in a state of ritual purification to perform an obligatory prayer, his reward is the same as the reward of a Ḥajj pilgrim in the state of Iḥrām".
These are five.

And the Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever prays Fajr in congregation, then sits remembering Allāh until the sun rises, then prays two units, will have the reward of Ḥajj and ʿUmrah, complete, complete, complete".
This is the sixth.

And the Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever goes to the mosque wanting only to learn something good or teach it, will receive the reward of a Ḥajj pilgrim who has completed his Ḥajj.”
This is the seventh.

The believer overlooks the faults of others, admonishes others, and gives good (sincere) advice.

The hypocrite disgraces (slanders) others,
insults (curses) others, and betrays (backbites; carries tales about and to) others.

Islam is solid (متين), it is not a weak religion ...

يا يحيى خذ الكتاب بقوة!
'𝑂 𝑌𝑎ℎ𝑦𝑎𝑎! 𝑇𝑎𝑘𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝐵𝑜𝑜𝑘 𝒇𝒊𝒓𝒎𝒍𝒚.' [Qur'an 19:12].

Don't go through life, in an apologetic, defensive way - always feeling inferior and always feeling the need to get other people's approval!

Walk with your head high, walk with honour and dignity.

Speak the truth, even when your voice shakes.

Stand up for the truth, even if you stand alone.

Don't bow to anyone, except God.

If we perish in this path, we will be victorious by God.

👉One of them says to you:
I'm afflicted with anxiety
I'm afflicted by sadness
I'm afflicted by boredom
I'm afflicted by confusion
I'm afflicted with doubts
I'm afflicted with calamities
I'm afflicted by evil whispering

1️⃣ Ask him: "Do you regularly recite the Qur'aan?"
🔥He will say: "No"

2️⃣ Ask him: "Do you regularly do the morning and evening Adhkaar and before sleeping?"
🔥He will say: "No"

Then, this is natural that you will be afflicted by all this, rather with even more.

For Allaah تعالى says:
أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّـهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ
{Verily in the remembrance of Allaah do hearts find rest!}
📚[Surah al-Ra`d (13):28]

The Kuffaar become desperate, go into depression, and commit suicide because they have no true God to rely on, nor do they have Salaah and Adhkaar with which to calm their hearts. All the materialistic gains only provide them with a temporary relief. It is not even a relief in real sense, rather a distraction from their troubles, it just diverts their mind temporarily. Like how intoxicated people lose their senses temporarily. But when they come back to their sense the reality hits them back again.

Our victory is in the Worship of Allaah about which we are reminded five times a day, everyday.

A man worshipped Allah for seventy years, then committed adultery, as a result of which all his (good) deeds were wiped away. He (later) passed by a needy person and gave him a piece of bread (in charity/sadaqah); as a result, Allah forgave his sin and returned (to his credit) his deeds of seventy years. (Ibn Mas'ood).

The effect of sincerity in carrying out any act of worship should never be underestimated.

Abu al-Zar’a reported: Abdullah ibn Mas’ud, may Allah be pleased with him, said, “A monk worshiped Allah in his hermitage for sixty years. Then, a woman came and laid down at his side, so he laid down with her and was intimate with her for six nights. He became regretful and he fled. He arrived at a mosque and sought refuge in it and remained inside for three days without eating anything. He was given a loaf of bread, so he broke it into two halves and gave half to the man on his right and half to the man on his left. Allah sent to him the angel of death to take hold of his soul. The angel placed his deeds of sixty years upon one side of the scale and he placed the six nights on the other side, yet the six nights outweighed it. Then, he placed the loaf of bread on the scale and it outweighed the six nights.”

LIKE AN ANIMAL STRUCK BY CALAMITY..

Khalaf ibn Ismā'il said:

'It was mentioned to me by a person of sound intellect named Abū Maymūn: 'O Abū Ismā'il, know there are conditions for patience.'
I asked what they were.
He replied: 'One of the conditions of patience is that you know how to be patient, for whom are you patient, what you want with your patience. You will thus, be counted among them provided you have good intent. Perhaps your patience will be a means of purification for you, otherwise you are like an animal that was struck by calamity and was disturbed by it.."

Dear Me :

- Your family doesn't know how much difficulties and pressure you go through in your daily life or in your job.

- Your work doesn't know the circumstances of your life and your home.

- Your colleagues, your friends and loved ones will not understand the size of the new and old responsibilities that are above you.

- And your partner is always expecting unconditional love and support from you, he won't understand the amount of pressure you go through no matter how much you talk and explain to him.

• Bottom line nobody feels for you but yourself. No one will understand what you're really going through and they most likely don't appreciate efforts.

• Just keep on keeping on, fight.. take care of yourself.

FOUR SONS OF NUH (‘alayhis-salām)

Shaykh Sālih Āl Shaykh said:

Shem (Sām) the son of Nūh is the father of the Arabs, Romans (Byzantines), and Persians. For this reason all three of them are called Semitic people and their languages are known as Semitic languages. They lived in a portion of North African and most of Asia.

Ham (Hām) the son of Nūh is the father of Sudan, meaning the black race in Africa and other places.

Japheth (Yāfith) the son of Nūh is the father of the Turks, Slavic, and Chinese. The Turks are the Russians, not those who are from Turkey, even if they are called Turks because the origin of the Ottomans is Russia. End of Shaykh’s words

Ibn Kathīr (rahimahullah) said concerning the verse: So it (the ship) sailed with them amidst the waves like mountains, and Nūh called out to his son, who had separated himself (apart), "O my son! Embark with us and be not with the disbelievers." (Sūrah Hūd 11:42)

His statement: “Nūh called out to his son” this was his fourth son. His name was Canān (Can'ān also said as Yām) and he was a disbeliever. His father called out to him to believe and board the ship with them, so he would not drown with the disbelievers.

How long can you stay away from your mobile?(phone or laptop)

I watched a program on mobile addiction (TVC news station)and almost everyone interviewed said they can't stay away from their phone for 1hr.some said that they would feel so lonely and .....

When you replace physical connection with a virtual one,the mind gets messed up that you end up feeling lonely and depressed.

Too much of everything is bad and same goes for being addicted to your mobile. You will be loosing out on the most important part of your life(personal development).
Most if us Muslims no longer use our Qur'an because yes everyone now has a Qur'an App. We are slowly getting farther away from our azkar because we have a message,to reply online, there is a content we need to post.Mobile addiction is becoming a major problem in homes today to the point that the Husbands no longer notice the wives and the mothers no longer pay attention to their kids.
How are we raising the next Generation?

I had a chat with a pregnant womanand upon advising her to be steadfast in reciting some portions of the Qur'an,she said"I don't even know what is wrong with me,I feel lazy to read the Qur'an even tho it's on my phone but I am always on Facebook"

A couple were laying beside each other in their bedroom one afternoon and suddenly the wife stopped moving or breathing. She remained motionless for almost 10minutes before finally breaking the silence.
"Shebi if I had died since you wouldn't have noticed?I played dead and you didn't even notice"

Except we curb our addiction, Mobile addict poses a greater danger to our Mental health, our homes and personal growth.

May Allah guide us

KHUSHOO in salah?

#SignsOfTheHour

The Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

“The very first thing to be raised from this Ummah is Khushoo (awe, fear of Allaah) until there is not a single person in it with khushoo.”

[Saheeh al-Jaami` (2569) graded as by Shaikh al-Albaanee]

“Khushoo’ in prayer happens when a person empties his heart for it (prayer),& focuses on it to the exlusion of all else, and prefers it to everything else. Only then does he find comfort & joy in it, as the Prophet (sw) said: ‘…& my joy has been made in salaah.’” ( Ahmad, 3/128 Saheeh al-Jaami’, 3124).

Allaah has mentioned al-khaashi’eena wa’l-khaashi’aat(men&women who r humble (b4 their Lord)),& described this quality as 1 of the qualities of those who are chosen. He tells us that He has prepared for them forgiveness&reat reward(i.e., Paradise)[See al-Ahzaab 33:35].

A man said to Abu Hāzim (may Allah have mercy upon him):

Indeed you are strict.

Abu Hāzim (may Allāh have mercy upon him) replied:

Why shouldn’t I be strict when I’m certainly being observed/watched by 14 enemies.

As for four of them: A Shaytān (devil) who puts me to trial, a believer who envies me, a disbeliever (who wants to) kill me and a hypocrite who hates me.

As for the (remaining) ten, from them are: The matter of hunger, thirst, heat, cold, nakedness, old age, sickness, poverty, death and the hell-fire.

I don’t have the ability (to combat them all) except with a complete weapon.

And I do not find a weapon to combat them with better than (the weapon of) at-Taqwā (having fear of Allah).
