THE 3 MOST DIFFICULT DAYS UPON MANKIND...
[ أصعبُ ثلاثة أيَّام على الإنسان ]
قال سفيانُ بن عُيينة - رحمه اللهُ -:
"أوحَشُ ما يكونُ ابنُ آدمَ في ثلاثة مواطن:
Sufyān b. 'Uyaynah Raḥimahullāh said: The most loneliest time that the son of Adam will be in is 3 situations:
يومَ وُلِدَ فيخرجُ إلى دارِ هَمٍّ .
1. The day he is born and comes to the abode of stress and anxiety (i.e. The world).
وليلةَ يبيتُ مع الموتى فيُجاورُ
جيرانًا لم يَرَ مثلَهم.
2. The night he will sleep with the deceased, so he will live beside neighbors he has never seen the likes of (i.e. The Grave).
ويومَ يُبعثُ فيَشهدُ مشهدًا لم يَرَ مثله
3. The day he will be raised up (from the dead) and he will witness the likes of that which he never witnessed before (i.e. The Day of Judgement).
Allāh the Most High said to Yaḥya regarding these 3 situations:
"May peace and safety be upon him, the day he is born, the day he dies and the day he will be brought back to life.”

The Dunya is Cursed…
The Messenger of Allāh صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ said:
“The dunya is cursed. Cursed is all that is in it except for the remembrance of Allah, and that which resembles it, a scholar, and a student (of knowledge).”
[Related by Tirmidhee, Ibn Maajah, and Bayhaqi. The wording is taken from Shaykh al-Albaanee’s Sahīh at-Targhīb wat-Tarhīb (1/34)]
Ali ibn Abi Taalib (رضي الله عنه) said:
“Verily, the Dunya is coming to an end and the Akhirah is coming to a beginning and they both have children. So be children of the Akhirah and don’t be children of the Dunya. For verily today there is action with no account and tomorrow there is account with no action”
[Related by Ibn al-Qayyim]
Al-Hasan al-Basri (رحمه الله) said:
“So beware of this land (the dunya) that is falling down and is misleading and deceiving, being decorated by its deceit and having eluded (others) by its delusion, and having killed its people with its hopes. It looks forward with anticipation towards the one who proposes to it for marriage. Hence it becomes like the unveiled bride – all the eyes are looking towards it, and the souls are in love with it, and the hearts are captivated by it.”

Is your loyalty towards Allaah or the people?
Muaawiyah رضي الله عنه wrote to the mother of the believers, Aaishah رضي الله عنها, asking her to write to him some advice but not making it lengthy. So, `Aaishah رضي الله عنها wrote:
“Assalaamu Alaik. To proceed… I heard the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم saying,
❝Whoever seeks the pleasure of Allaah while the people are displeased; then Allaah will protect him from the troubles caused by the people. And whosoever seeks the pleasure of the people while displeasing Allaah; then Allaah will leave his matter for the people (i.e. Allaah will not protect him from the harms of the people)❞
Wassalaamu Alaik.”

My New Year Resolution Is ....
Not to spend a penny or waste a second in any such celebrations as they are neither useful in this world nor in hereafter.
I believe we are answerable to ALLAH for all our actions.

Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?
➨ QURAN 6:32
And the worldly life is not but amusement and diversion; but the home of the Hereafter is best for those who fear Allah , so will you not reason?

The feet of the son of Adam shall not move from before his Lord on the Day of Judgment, until he is asked about FIVE things:
1) About his life and what he did with it,
2) About his youth and what he wore it out in,
3) About his wealth and how he earned it
4) And spent it upon,

1) The most affluent of the people in this world, of the inhabitants of the Fire, (who will be) will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and dipped once in the Fire. Then it will be said: 'O son of Adam, did you ever see anything good? Did you ever have any pleasure?' He will say: 'No, by Allah, O Lord.'
2) Then the most destitute of the people in this world, (who will be) of the inhabitants of Paradise, will be brought and dipped once in Paradise, and it will be said to him: 'O son of Adam, did you ever see anything bad? Most of the Muslims could stay awake till late night to witness a pagan festival (i.e. new year), but couldn't pray their Fajr prayer, yet they want an Islamic State in their place?!

Society is designed to make us hate our situation. The skinny want to gain weight. The overweight want to lose weight. The short wish they were an inch taller. The tall which they were slightly shorter. Those with light complexions want to get slightly tanned. The tanned want to get slightly lighter. The single wish they could be married. The married reminisce about the days of less responsibility whilst single. The ones who didn't go to uni wish they got a degree. Those who went to uni wish they went straight into a job. The childless couple can't experience serenity until they are blessed with a baby child. Parents with babies would do anything to experience a moment of serenity. The young want to be older and the old only wish they could go back to being younger. The unemployed are dying to work and those working are dying for a break.
Honestly, whether you're overweight, skinny, rich, broke, husband, wife, mother, or father, young or old - society will never be satisfied and they'll never be content with you. Don't look at what you don't have. Look at everything you do have. Allāh said, 'If you are grateful - I shall surely increase you!'

Part 14 - Seerat un Nabee Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam
Narrated By Anas Radiallaho anh4 : There was a Christian who embraced Islam and read Surat-al-Baqara and Al-Imran, and he used to write (the revelations) for the Prophet. Later on he returned to Christianity again and he used to say: "Muhammad knows nothing but what I have written for him." Then Allah caused him to die, and the people buried him, but in the morning they saw that the earth had thrown his body out. They said, "This is the act of Muhammad and his companions. They dug the grave of our companion and took his body out of it because he had run away from them." They again dug the grave deeply for him, but in the morning they again saw that the earth had thrown his body out. They said, "This is an act of Muhammad and his companions. They dug the grave of our companion and threw his body outside it, for he had run away from them." They dug the grave for him as deep as they could, but in the morning they again saw that the earth had thrown his body out. So they believed that what had befallen him was not done by human beings and had to leave him thrown (on the ground).

DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY THE DECEIVER.
Allah Azza-Wa-Jal said:
فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ ٱلْحَيَوٲةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُم بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْغَرُورُ

Al-Hassen al-Basri (rahimahullah) whenever he would recite this ayah would say:
"Who is One who is saying this? Who is One who is saying this? Indeed, it is The One who created it (the worldly life) and the One that is most knowledgeable regarding it"

Imām Ibn al Qayyim رحمه الله (d. 751H) said:
“For the majority of the creation, rather all of them except those whom Allah wills, have bad thoughts concerning Allah without any rights to do so.
For indeed the vast majority of the children of Adam believe they’ve been cheated of their rights, unlucky, and that they are deserving of greater than what Allah has given them.
And their inner voice says:
“My Lord has oppressed me and has denied me what I deserve.”
And their inner self testifies to that.
And at the same time their tongue (outwardly) denies this and they wouldn’t dare openly speak with such words.
And the one who investigates their inner self and unearths knowledge of that which is buried and their innermost thoughts they’ll see that (ennoscriptment) within their soul like a potential fire from a flint. So strike the flint, if you wish, its spark shall inform you what was concealed within.
And if you were to investigate them you will find them displeased regarding the Qadar [i.e. that which was decreed] and find them blaming it. Suggesting alternatives would’ve been better than that which was decreed and they’ll say:
“Such and such should’ve occurred”
So (in their eyes) they’ve either been shorted their rights or over burdened by hardship.
So investigate your soul, are you free from such thoughts?”

Brothers and Sisters,
We won’t be judged by the actions we commit on social media, but what we do in our private lives. These acts involve how we treat other people (despite whether or not we like or dislike them), how we choose to lead our lives, and our core values. This is just a reminder to stay true to yourselves either on or off a screen.🌸

Ibn Al-Qayyim’s رحمه الله Illustrations of Leaving Something Sincerely for the Sake of Allāh – & How it is Done Correctly:
“Whoever leaves off something for the sake of Allāh; then Allāh will replace that with something better.
Just as Yusuf – as-Siddeeq (‘alaihis salaam) left the wife of ‘Azeez for the sake of Allāh and chose the prison over fornication. Thus Allāh exchanged it by: empowering him upon the earth – to engage and take charge therein – as and how he liked.
Subsequently the woman herself returned to him; belittled – in a state of appeal – desirous of permissible association and so he married her, and so when he entered upon her he said:
“this is better than that which you sought.”
Observe how Allāh, The Glorified, rewarded him over the confined restriction of the prison with: empowering and granting him full authority in the land to take up quarters – wherever he liked. He humbled the ‘Azeez (ruler) and his wife before him. Moreover this woman herself as well as the other women acknowledged his being free of fault – and this is His Sunnah (practice) The Most High, towards His servants past and present – until The Day of Judgment.
Likewise when Sulaimaan bin Dawood (‘alaihimaa as-salaam) became distracted with the horses which preoccupied him from the ‘Asr prayer until the sun had set – and so he became angered for the sake of Allāh. Allāh replaced them for him with the wind; upon which he along with his military force would subsequently travel – airborne – wherever he so desired.
Likewise when the Muhaajiroon (the companions who migrated) left their homes and dwellings for the sake of Allaah, they left their homelands which were of the most beloved things to them. Allāh compensated them by opening upon them the whole world in conquests and sanctioned for them the empowerment of the east of the earth as well as its west.”
When speaking of how a person leaves something correctly for the sake of Allāh and of a person’s truthfulness in that; Ibn al-Qayyim said:
“Indeed; one may find difficulty in abandoning the things that are customary as well as the habits – that being for whoever abandons them for other than Allāh. As for the one who abandons it truthfully and sincerely from his heart; then he finds no difficulty in abandoning it – except in the initial instant – in order for him to be tested as to: whether he is truthful in its abandonment or untruthful? So if he is patient upon that difficulty for a short period, then it transforms into pleasant delight.
Ibn Sireen said: ‘I heard Shuraih swear by Allāh; that a servant never abandoned anything for the sake of Allāh; and subsequently found bereavement over it.’
As for their saying: ‘whoever leaves off something for Allāh; then Allāh will replace it with better than it’ – this is true, and the replacement can be of various types. The most outstanding of that which one can be granted replacement is that of: acquaintance with Allāh and of having love for Him and the tranquility of the heart with regards to Him along with its strength and its enthusiasm and its delight and pleasure of its Lord, The Most High.
The most foolish of people is the one who strayed at the very end of his journey – and yet had neared the abode (destination).”

When someone comes to you with the heart overloaded with pain, please, don't make up some lame excuse to get rid of them. Perhaps they have been walking from ear to ear but nobody has heard their cry. Perhaps they have been walking from eye to eye but nobody has seen their tears. A journey through the emotionless desert is tiring, they are hungry for empathy and thirsty for understanding. Now they come to you, and you aren't deaf and blind to someone else's pain. You can be their oasis. Feed them and quench their thirst so they're strong enough to carry their heavy heart and continue the journey. @undercoverpoet__

The only way to kill a bad idea is to be open about it and present it against a better idea.

Life is unpredictable. Anyone can die. Any of your family members or you, anytime. Diseases, plagues, natural disasters can strike anytime. Before the coming of the Dajjal, Allah will withhold the rain for 3 consecutive years. There shall be severe drought and mayhem. There could be another virus wave more lethal than before.
Be prepared.
Expert planning necessitates including worst case scenarios. Be prepared for the worse. Worry for your family and near ones. Let them stay vigilant. Spend on yourself but save money as well. Keep giving charity to get the special help from Allah and seek his protection alone. Rely on him.
Hope for the best but prepare for the worst. Always keep asking for 'Aafiyah. May Allah forgive our sins and protect all of us especially all the weak people on earth.

“Poor them!
Tomorrow dead crying over today’s dead.”
