Shaykh ul-Islām ibn Taymiyyah, [may ﷻﷲ have mercy upon him], said:

“The perfection of reliance is for the Believer, to be free from dependence on anyone but ﷻﷲ. This entails refraining from seeking aid elsewhere and keeping one’s hopes centered solely on ﷻﷲ.”

Student loans, mortgages to buy houses, even credit cards? All are backed by a contract which is prohibited in Islām. Those and such similar scenarios are only allowed in situations of dire necessity. You can work part-time and go to school part-time, you can rent a house. As for credit cards, only use them if you absolutely have to, that is, in transactions which can only be done with credit cards. If you insist otherwise, then maybe you are in no need of Allāh's mercy...

Jābir said that Allāh's Messenger (ﷺ) cursed the accepter of interest and its payer, and one who records it, and the two witnesses, and he said: They are all equal.

⚘️The Strategic Approach for Your Supplications being Answered by Allāh.

Shaykh ibn ‘Uthaymeen, [may Allāh, have mercy on him] said:

“It is incumbent upon mankind to carefully select opportune moments, places, and conditions to enhance their chances of receiving a response [for their supplications, from Allāh]. For instance, ideal times include the last part of the night and the interval between the call to prayer and the commencement of prayer. Optimal places involve being in virtuous surroundings. As for favourable circumstances, they encompass the act of prostration, the state of travel, and the occurrence of rainfall.”

Correction:

Four distinct congregations continued to be held simultaneously in the most sacred house for more than nine centuries, notwithstanding the disapproval of numerous scholars of the past, many of whom remained silent.

Ibn Abī Al-Īzz denounced the practice that restricted judges to making rulings only according to a particular fiqh. The tradition, too, of appointing four imams, one from each school of fiqh, to lead the prayer in the House of Allāh at Makkah, he stated, should be discontinued. There should be, he argued, one imām, and everyone, irrespective of the fiqh school he followed, should pray behind him.[ ibn Abī Al-‘Īzz, Al-Ittiba pp. 74f.]

Ash-Shaykh Uthaymeen (R) said:

what was known in al-Masjid al-Haraam before the Saudi government took charge of it, where there were four congregations, each of which had an imam: a Hanbali imam who led the Hanbalis in prayer, a Shaafa’i imam who led the Shaafa’is, a Maaliki imam who led the Maalikis and a Hanafi imam who led the Hanafis. They said: This is the maqaam for the Shaafa’i, this is the maqaam for the Maaliki, this is the maqaam for the Hanafi and this is the maqaam for the Hanbali.

But when King ‘Abd al-‘Azeez (may Allah reward him with good) entered Makkah, he said: This is dividing the ummah, i.e., the Muslim ummah is being divided in one mosque, and this is not permissible. So he united them behind one imam, and this was one of his good deeds and virtues (may Allah have mercy on him). [al-Sharh al-Mumti’ (4/227-231)]

*An advise for those who have lost barakah*

One of the salaf said :

"The more I increased reading from the portion of the Qur'an, the more barakah I found in my time.. And I did not stop increasing my 'Qur'an time' untill I was able to read 10 ajza at a time !! When Diyaa Al Maqdisi wanted to go on a journey for seeking ilm, Ibrahim bin Abdul wahid Al Maqdisi advised him saying, "Increase in your recitation of the Quran and do not leave it, for the ilm (knowledge) will be made easy for you in the same proportion as how much you read from the book of Allah.

Hanbali scholar, Diyaa Al deen Al Maqdisi said (later on) : " I experienced this a lot, whenever I read more of the Qur'an, listening & writing of Hadeeth became easy and abundant for me, and whenever I didn't read, i found it not easy"

Respond to Bad Treatment with Kindness
Ibn al-Qayyim rahimahullah stated: "So whoever loves that Allah would replace his bad deeds with good deeds, then he should exchange the bad treatment that he receives from others with kindness. And whoever knows that sins and bad deeds are innate to mankind, then he would not dwell on the bad treatment that he receives from others."

ANSWERS COME WHEN THE TIME COMES

If Shaytān ever whispers to your heart saying, 'How long have you been supplicating but you still see no answer?'

Let your answer be, 'I worship Him with my supplications, while I am confident and certain that my supplications shall be answered. Yet, maybe the answer is postponed to bring forth a goodness that is for my interest for answers come when the time comes. And even if no answer is noted, it suffices the humility and worship I am in.'

Gatherings Of The Righteous 🩵…‏

Al-Hafidh Ibn Al-Qayyim [رحمه الله] [D. 751 A.H.] said:

❝Gatherings of the righteous transfers six to six:

1 - From doubt to certainty

2 - From Riyaa [showing off] to Ikhlaas

3 - From negligence to remembrance

4 - From desiring the Duniyaa [worldly life] to desiring the Hereafter

5 - From pride to humility

6 - From a bad intention to giving advise.❞

When a person spends his entire day with no other concern but Allah alone, Allah (Subḥānahu wa ta’āla) will take care of all his needs and take care of all of that is worrying him, He will empty his heart so that it will be filled only with love for Him, free his tongue so that it will speak only in remembrance of Him, and cause all his faculties to work only in obedience to Him.

The Titanic was constructed by hundreds of men, and its captain announced that this ship will never perish. On it first voyage in the ocean it sunk.

Mean while, Nuh عليه السلام constructed a huge ship all by himself and he announced: “With the name of ALLAH it sails and anchors.” (Surat Hud:41). The entire world became flooded, and his ship was the only thing that survived.

This is the result of true توكل على الله reliance upon Allah

Be with Allah, Allah will always be with you.

Reciting The Qur’aan Is The Best Dhikr
