Muhammad ibn Abdul wahhab was from the Banu Tameem tribe.

Whilst the Sufis & Shias dance with the Dajjal, the tribe of Muhammad ibn Abdul-Wahhaabs will be fighting against it.

good qualities of the people of najd (banu tamim) from sahih hadith
Narrated Abu Huraira:

I have loved the people of the tribe of Bani tamim ever since I heard, three things, Allah's Apostle said about them. I heard him saying,

These people (of the tribe of Bani tamim) would stand firm against Ad-dajjal."

When the Sadaqat (gifts of charity) from that tribe came, Allah's Apostle said,
"These are the Sadaqat (i.e. charitable gifts) of our folk."

'Aisha had a slave-girl from that tribe, and the Prophet said to 'Aisha, "Manumit her as she is a descendant of Ishmael (the Prophet)."

(Sahih Al Bukhari. Book #46, Hadith #719) (Bukhari Book #59, Hadith #652)(Sahih Al-Muslim. Book #031, Hadith #6133,6134)

Narrated Abu Huraira: I have not ceased to like Banu tamim ever since I heard of three qualities attributed to them by Allah's Apostle (He said): They, out of all my followers, will be the strongest opponent of Ad-dajjal; 'Aisha had a slave-girl from them, and the Prophet told her to manumit her as she was from the descendants of (the Prophet) Ishmael; and, when their Zakat was brought, the Prophet said, "This is the Zakat of my people."

(Book #59, Hadith #652)

Abu Huraira reported: Since I heard three things from Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) my love for Banu tamim is never on the decline (and these things are): I heard Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying about them that they would put up stout resistance against Dajjal amongst my Umma. And he (the narrator) said: (When) the consignment of Zakat was brought to him, Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: This is the charity of our people, and there was one slave-girl in the house of 'A'isha and she was from the tribe of Banu tamim; thereupon Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Set her free, for she is from the offspring of Isma'il. The other hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Abu Huraira with a slight variation of wording.

(Sahih Al-Muslim. Book #031, Hadith #6133)

Abu Huraira reported: There are some distinguishing features of Banu tamim which I heard from Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and my love for them is never on the decline after that and the words are: They are the bravest amongst people in the battlefield and there is no mention of (the word)" Dajjal".

(Sahih Al-Muslim. Book #031, Hadith #6134)

Ibn Hajr al-Asqalaanee said, "this hadeeth also contains a clear mention of the excellence and superiority of Bani Tameem." [Fath 5/217]

Banu Tamim are the majority of people of the so-called Najd (Saudi Arabia). To label Najd as that area of Saudi Arabia would be in contradiction of the many hadeeth relating to Bani Tameem especially those in which they fight the Dajjal, who comes from the Najd that is to the East.

The Prophet ﷺ said:“The people who face the most difficult tests are the prophets, then the righteous, then those following them in degree. A person is tried according to his religion. So if there is firmness in his religion, then the trial is increased, and if there is a weakness, then it is lightened. Verily a trial remains with a servant until he walks the earth having no sin left upon him.” [Bukhari].

An Age of Deception

Islām has become something strange for many Muslims.

On the one hand, you have people who are educated in Islām and have knowledge, but have fallen into the trap of appeasing the atheistic values and Western ideals. As a result, the desperately try to conform to the innovated belief system which falls under the guise of science, even though science was never meant to be a religious belief, but an investigation of the world around us. In Islām, our sources are from Allāh, the Creator of everything.

On the other hand, we have general everyday Muslims among whom many are realizing that going back to learning and practicing Islām is the way to success, but fall prey to those mentioned in the previous paragraph, and thus, end up getting confusing and conflicting ideas. They look to misguided people of scholarship who have taken the liberty of watering down Islām and making it more "practical" to fit into Western ideals which are based on atheism or polytheism, or both.

Then you have self-proclaimed influencers who have turned Islām into fun, song and entertainment. They have made light of Allāh's religion. They have spoken about Allāh without knowledge. Again, their attempt is to give Muslims some "Ḥalāl" entertainment.

Lastly, there are those who are Muslims, more or less by name. They sin openly and shamelessly and find any and every excuse to justify their actions. Under the "don't judge me" nonsense, they try to find a way to put on a show of piety despite their blatant disrespect for Allāh and His religion. This last category will go to the misguided scholars and self-proclaimed influencers to get their so-called "Islamic education".

We are living in deceiving times. Don't be from any of the above. Go straight to the scholars and the books of the Sunnah. It is a matter of salvation. Islām is not something part-time, nor is it something that is custom-made to suit one's desire and convenience.

Allāh says in Noble Qur'ān 2:208

O you who have believed, enter into Islām completely [and perfectly] and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.

The Correct Understanding Of Tawakkul (To Depend/Rely Upon Allah) and Tawakkul Subsequent Actions:

Question: - I would like a detailed explanation so that I can correctly understand the following Hadith: - “Were you to depend upon Allah with true dependence/reliance, He would have provided for you like He provides for the bird; early in the morning he leaves hungry, but returns at the end of the day with a full stomach.”

Answer: - This Hadith was narrated by Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace be upon him) who said:

لو أنكم كنتم توكلون على الله حق توكله لرزقكم كما يرزق الطير تغدو خماصا وتروح بطانا

“Were you to depend upon Allah with true dependence/reliance, He would have provided for you like He provides for the bird; early in the morning he leaves hungry, but returns at the end of the day with a full stomach.” ” (At-Tirmithi no. 2344, Ibn Majah no.4I64, Ahmad 1/30,52, Ibn Hibban no. 2548 and Al-Hakim 4/318) “This Hadeeth is Hasan Sahih.”

The reality of Tawakkul (putting one's trust in Allah) is heartfelt, sincere reliance on Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He) in bringing benefit and warding off harm, whether in the affairs of this life or the Hereafter.

The meaning of this Hadith is that if people, in their hearts, truly rely on Allah Alone and put all their trust in Him in bringing about benefit and warding off harm, while also adopting the helpful means, He will provide them with sustenance by the simplest of means, just as He provides birds with sustenance merely by their going out and coming back.

It is a kind of endeavor that shows its fruits with little effort put forth into the pursuit.

Thus, realizing Tawakkul does not contradict implementing the means that Allah (Exalted be He) has provided and the destiny, which He decreed, is based upon.

This is the Constant Law of Allah in the affairs of His Creation: He has commanded mankind to adopt the means along with His Command of putting total trust in Him. The physical effort in pursuit of means is obedience to Allah (Exalted be He), whereas reliance of the heart on Allah is Imaan in Him. Allah (Exalted be He) says:

وَعلَى اللّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ

So fear Allah. “And in Allah let believers put their Trust” [Ibrahim 14:11]

Tawakkul is mentioned here together with Taqwa (fear of offending Allah), which in this context stands for the duty of acting according to the means enjoined by Allah (Exalted be He).

Tawakkul without making use of the means enjoined by Allah (Exalted be He) is total incapacity, even if it is mixed with a sort of Tawakkul. People should not transform their Tawakkul into non-action, or regard their non-action as Tawakkul; rather, they should make their Tawakkul a part of the means, remembering that no end can ever be achieved unless they are all utilized.

May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family and Companions.

In his tafsir of surah al-Anfal, al-Qurtubi mentioned the following exchange:

A man asked al-Hasan al-Basri, "Abu Sa'eed, are you a mu'min?"

al-Hasan responded, "There are two levels of eman. If you are asking me about eman in Allah, His angels, His Scriptures, His Messengers, Jannah & the Hellfire, Resurrection & the Reckoning, then I am a believer in that. But if you are asking me about Allah's statement:

"The believers are those who when Allah is mentioned their hearts become fearful and when His verses are recited to them it increases them in eman and they place their reliance on their Lord * Those who establish the prayer and spend out of what We have provided them with * Those are the true believers." [al-Anfal 2-4]

Then, by Allah, I do not know if I am one of them or not!"

Don’t get caught in personality wars

Don’t attach your Deen to personalities

Your guidance is not dependent on personalities

Remember, it is the people who are in need of the Deen of Allaah and not the other way round

If Allaah has written guidance for you, it will come to you

Do not treat the means of guidance (a personality in this case) as a source of guidance.

Question:

Which of the two are better; the intention or the action?

🔊Answer:

((The intention of the believer is better than his action)) –

This has been said by more than one person, and some of them raise it, so the clarification of this is from a number of angles:

Firstly: that the mere intention by itself without action is rewarded for, whilst action without intention is not rewarded for

Secondly: Whosoever sees a good, and acts it out as far as one is able to, but could not complete it – then he has the reward of the one who carried it out, due to his saying ('alaihis salaatu was salaam):

((Indeed present in Al-Madeenah there are men, you did not march along the way, and nor did you traverse a valley – except that they were with you…)) (reported by Muslim)

Thirdly: The heart is king of the body, and the body parts are his soldiers, so if the king has with himself goodness then likewise his soldiers will likewise have goodness, and if he is corrupt, then they likewise are corrupted, and so the intention is the actions of the king.

Fourthly: The repentance of the one weak against sins is correct with Ahl us Sunnah, as is the repentance of the eunuch from fornication, as is the repentance of the speechless one from false accusation, and the root of repentance is: determination of the heart.

Fifthly: Corruption does not enter into the intention, since its very foundation is love of Allaah and His Messenger, and the seeking of Allaah’s face;

this in itself is something loved by Allaah and His Messenger, and pleasing to Allaah and His Messenger. Whilst in the outward actions many missed opportunities can appear in them, for this reason the actions of the hearts alone are better than the actions of the body alone, as it is said:

“The strength of the believer lies in his heart, and his weakness is in his body” and the hypocrite is the opposite of this, and Allaah knows best.

Sheikh Muhammad ibn Saalih al-'Uthaymeen once said:

[والعاقل إذا قرأ القرآن وتبصر، عرف قيمة الدنيا، وأنها ليست بشيء، وأنها مزرعة للآخرة، فانظر ماذا زرعت فيها لآخرتك؟ إن كنت زرعت خيراً: فأبشر بالحصاد الذي يرضيك، وإن كان الأمر بالعكس: فقد خسرت الدنيا والآخرة . ـ]

When the intelligent person reads the Qur'an with insight, he realizes the value of this worldly life, which is nothing, and that it is just a place to sow for the hereafter. So consider: what have you planted for your hereafter?

If you have planted good, then have glad tidings of a harvest that will please you. If not, then you have lost out on both this life and the next.

The Heart’s Best Medicine 💖

Ibnul-Qayyimal-Jawziyyah , may Allaah have mercy upon him, says:

In short, there is nothing more beneficial for the heart than reading the Quraan and with contemplation and reflection. The Quraan encompasses all the levels of the travellers, the conditions of the workers, and stations of those possessing knowledge. It is the Quraan that generates love, desire, fear, hope, repentance, reliance, pleasure, entrustment, gratitude, patience, and the rest of the different states that are life to the heart and perfection of it. Likewise, it repels all the rebuked characteristics and actions that cause the corruption and ruin of the heart.

If people were to possess a realization of what recitation of the Quraan with contemplation contains, they would devote themselves to it at the expense of anything else. When the person reads it with reflection and he comes across an aayah that he is in need of, for the cure of his heart, he repeats it, even if he does so a hundred times or the whole night. Hence, to recite a single aayah of the Quraan with contemplation and reflection is better than reciting the Quraan to completion without any contemplation or reflection. It is also more beneficial for the heart and more conducive to attaining eemaan and tasting the sweetness of the Quraan.
