In an epoch of remote pre-history, which corresponds to the “Golden Age” - the now conceived “symbolic” polar land was a real location situated in the Arctic, which today corresponds to the North Pole.

This region was inhabited by beings who by virtue of their possession of transcendent spirituality, characterized by gold, glory, and light, which exemplified the Uranian Tradition - Uranus being the Sky Father, the Primordial God of the Heavens and the principle of Masculinity.

When Uranus wed with Gaia (Earth) - thus were born 12 Titans. And these Titans ruled this Golden Epoch.

These Titans were:
Oceanus - God of the Great River
Coeus - God of Intelligence & Inquiry
Crius - God of Heavenly Constellations
Hyperion - God of Heavenly Light
Iapetus - God of the Life-Cycle
Cronus - God of Destructive Time
Thea - Goddess of Prophecy
Rhea - Goddess of Healing & Childbirth
Themis - Goddess of Justice
Mnemosyne - Goddess of Memory
Phoebe - Goddess of Intellect
Tethys - Goddess of the Sea

Uranus had more children with Gaia than these, but these are the main 12.

There came a time where Uranus imprisoned 6 of her children (3 Giants with 50 heads and 100 arms & 3 Cyclopes) within her womb.

This upset Gaia, who then conspired with the 12 Elder Titans to castrate Uranus and free her children. Only Cronus was willing to do the deed.

So Cronus castrated his father’s genitals with a sickle, and freed the Giants and Cyclops.

Cronus then imprisoned these siblings in Tartarus, and imprisoned Uranus deep below Tartarus, in so doing - becoming the Ruler of the Titans.

But Uranus cursed Cronus, so that Cronus’s own children would rebel against his rule, just as Cronus rebelled against his Father.

Cronus, paranoid of his father’s curse, began devouring each of his children as they were born from his sister-wife, Rhea.

Rhea resented Cronus for this, and hid her youngest newborn child, Zeus, by tricking Cronus to swallow a rock instead of him.

Upon reaching adulthood, Zeus masqueraded as Cronus’s cupbearer, and servant of Cronus - until he hatched his plan to poison Cronus’s wine, causing him to vomit out the swallowed children, freeing them, as well as the Giants and Cyclops.

Zeus then led them all in rebellion against the Titans loyal to Cronus.

Thus began the End of the Golden Age, and the Fall into the Silver Age - with the Titanomachy and Gigantomachy.

This is the fall of Hyperborea, the fall of the Northern Pole.
