My lab (at Clemson University) has openings for three PhD students, as well as one postdoc fellow (experienced researchers can also be considered for the rank of Research Assistant Professor) to work on several topics: (1) energy management and environmental (lighting and climate) control in solar powered greenhouse; (2) heterogeneous multi-agent systems with applications in field-based and controlled environments agriculture; and (3) learning-based predictive controls. Strong background and prior research experience in optimal (or nonlinear) control theory and/or stochastic/robust optimization is required.
