The postdoc will be working on a combination of multi-year cutting-edge projects funded by the US DOD and DOE. More specifically, we are seeking a candidate with expertise in the development and characterization of high-frequency (multi-MHz) high-density GaN power converters.

In a broader context, the candidate is expected to fulfill the following criteria:
 
➡ A strong theoretical foundation in modeling of power converters and high-frequency magnetics
➡ Extensive hands-on experience in design, development and control of wide bandgap power electronic converters, particularly high-frequency (MHz-range) GaN power converters
➡ Proficiency in complex multi-layer PCB layout for high-frequency converters, as well as signal conditioning and control
➡ Advanced proficiency in TI DSP and FPGA programming

Start date: At the earliest possible
