I am seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic post-doctoral fellow to join our Resilient and Innovative Bridges and Structures (RIBS) Lab at the #UniversityofCalgary. Preference will be given to candidates with experiences/publications in the following areas:
Bridge condition assessment, deep learning, non-destructive evaluation of bridges, structural health monitoring and digital twin. In partnership with City of Calgary, the project aims to develop an autonomous condition assessment tool using Deep Learning (DL) techniques to classify and detect various types of damages and deterioration mechanism of highway bridges.

The position is expected to start from January 2025. The initial contract will be for 1.5years with potential for extension. The position comes with attractive remuneration and benefit packages in accordance with UCalgary policies.
