1) Investigating the effects of polyunsaturated fatty acids on monocyte metabolism and function
2) Defining the direct effects of high
macronutrient loads on cell stress pathways in innate immune cells
3) Digging into the causes and consequences of candidate gene expression changes induced by bioactive fatty acids of interest
The ideal candidate would have knowledge of molecular and cellular biology and previous research experience.
I'm also open to undergrad students through the URA or CHRIM summer research programs (but filling up fast).
