- Lifecycle assessment;
- Machine learning; and
- Operation simulation methods (e.g., agent-based modeling, system dynamics, and disaster event simulations);
The selected student will work in the area of sustainable disaster debris management and operations and perform reconnaissance work at disaster sites. Strong programming background, research experience, and programming skills are required. Note that ideal candidates should have no issues with re-entering the United States since the selected student may be involved in international travel for data collection. This position will include a stipend, tuition, and health insurance benefits. The priority will be given to domestic candidates or others who have no issues obtaining a US Visa on time.
