My research group, Communication Systems and Networks (CSN), is now looking for a talented postdoctoral researcher in the area of wireless communication and positioning for future applications to join our team and help us fulfil the project's goals, producing quality research and collaborate with external project partners in Swedish ICT industry. The position is placed at the Sensible Things that Communicate (STC) research center, who is a leading Scandinavian research center in Industrial IoT, and are doing research on fields ranging from wireless connectivity, network security and cryptography, distributed systems, ML/AI, embedded systems, visualization and measurement systems.
We seek an outstanding talent with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, Computer Engineering, Automatic Control, or similar. The ideal candidate have a solid background in wireless communication, positioning, sensor fusion, SLAM, and estimation. Previous experiences in ML/AI, optimization, and wireless prototyping is an advantage. a strong publication record in IEEE/ACM transactions and conferences is needed.
The work will involve algorithm development, simulations and testing, modelling and prototyping, publishing high-quality research papers in high-ranked journals and to contribute to the preparation and drafting of research bids and proposals.
The position comes with competitive salary, flexible working hours, professional development opportunities, parental allowance supplement, fitness program, insurance, and paid holidays (29 days or more depending on age).
