This 5-year Ph.D. position will be fully funded through a combination of research and teaching assistantships to the students, which will include tuition waivers and benefits. Motivated students with a background in atmospheric science, ocean science, geology, physics, or other related fields are encouraged to contact Dr. Adebiyi at aaadebiyi@ucmerced.edu with the CV and a brief statement of research interests and/or experience. Previous programming skills using Fortran, NCL, Matlab, Python, or others are desirable but not required. Please note that the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) Score is not required to apply for the ES graduate program.
