I am looking for candidates for a possible postdoctoral fellowship to join my research group in one of the following possible projects listed according to their priorities for my lab:
1. Biosensing and electronic nose development in wireless sensing schemes within indoor environments
2. Greenhouse gas sensing and estimation of emission in open fields, and life cycle assessment of cropping systems
3. Nutrient sensing and fertigation mechanisms
4. Detection of anomalies based on machine vision for field pest management.
It is expected that the candidate will have: 1) excellent command in software development and the use of artificial intelligence packages, 2) knowledge in mechanical design, and 3) knowledge in developing wireless sensing systems. A successful candidate will be expected to work in a team with graduate students at Applied Intelligent Engineering Systems lab and be willing to conduct fieldwork at farms and farm buildings.
Required qualifications:
1. PhD obtained after January 2021 in Electrical, Mechanical, Agricultural Engineering, or any related field,
2. Relevant research experience and knowledge that serve the topics above,
