Postdoc opportunity at University of California, Davis with Dr Alessandro Ossola’s Urban Science Lab. The 2-yr postdoc will work on a project about tree cooling performance in California schoolyards, as part of a robust interdisciplinary team with UCLA, UC Berkeley, and the USDA Forest Service, as well as state and nonprofit partners. The postdoc will carry out microclimate measurements on selected California public K-12 campuses, and also contribute to other components of the larger project including school engagement, mentoring grad students, and inter- and transdisciplinary collaboration.
