PI: Dr. Feng "Frank" Xiao. Dr. Xiao is a tenured Associate Professor in Civil Engineering at the University of Missouri (Columbia). Serving as an Editor for the Journal of Hazardous Materials (impact factor: 14) and an Associate Editor for the ASCE Journal of Environmental Engineering, he specializes in water and soil quality engineering, focusing on emerging contaminants and black carbon. His outstanding contributions to the field of PFAS have been recognized with the prestigious USEPA STAR Early Career Award in 2019 and U.S. National Science Foundation CAREER Award in 2021.
