The Salehi Water and Environmental Research Lab (SWERL) within the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Missouri, Columbia, is seeking a highly motivated Ph.D. student to join our team starting in Fall 2024 or Spring 2025. The research focus is on the development of advanced analytical techniques for studying plastic pollution in the environment. It’s a fully funded position (30 K/year) and benefits (tuition and health insurance) will be provided.
Requirements:
Background in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Polymers, or related fields.
English proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS) for international applicants.
Excellent scientific writing and communication skills.
