Is it ok for Christians to drink alcohol? - 27th April 2021

Let's see what does the Bible say:
Proverbs 20:1 KJV
Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.
1 Corinthians 6:10 KJV
Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
As you can see by these 2 verses alone, drinking is not wise and drunkards will not be allowed in Heaven. But is the Bible really against alcohol? Let's dive deeper.
Let's see what is being written in the book of Proverbs for example:
Proverbs 23:29-35 KJV
Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes? 30 They that tarry long at the WINE; they that go to seek mixed wine. 31 Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright. 32 At the last it biteth like a serpent[1], and stingeth like an adder. 33 Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things.[2] 34 Yea, thou shalt be as he that lieth down in the midst of the sea, or as he that lieth upon the top of a mast[3]. 35 They have stricken me, shalt thou say, and I was not sick; they have beaten me, and I felt it not:[4] when shall I awake? I will seek it yet again.[5]
This is very telling. The Bible gives us a plain denoscription of alcohol here.
Alcohol burns[1], men are more lustful and more stimulated to say smuts and talk foolishly[2], we get dizzy from it[3], we're not aware of what is going on around us[4] and we can fall into alcoholism[5].
Now let's see what the books of Samuel have to say:
1 Samuel 1:12-16 KJV
And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the LORD, that Eli marked her mouth. 13 Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken. 14 And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee. 15 And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD. 16 Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto.
Who drank alcohol or was drunk wasn't counted in the number of God's people.
1 Samuel 25:25,36-37 KJV
25 Let not my lord, I pray thee, regard this man of Belial, even Nabal: for as his name is, so is he; Nabal is his name, and folly is with him:

36 And Abigail came to Nabal; and, behold, he held a feast in his house, like the feast of a king; and Nabal's heart was merry within him, for he was very drunken: wherefore she told him nothing, less or more, until the morning light. 37 But it came to pass in the morning, when the wine was gone out of Nabal, and his wife had told him these things, that his heart died within him, and he became as a stone.
Drinking is a folly.
2 Samuel 23:6 KJV
But the sons of Belial shall be all of them as thorns thrust away, because they cannot be taken with hands: 7 But the man that shall touch them must be fenced with iron and the staff of a spear; and they shall be utterly burned with fire in the same place.
Sons of Belial, those who drink will be "utterly burned".
With that being said, the book of Romans tells us:

Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. 14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
We are commanded to abstain from alcohol and from being in a state of intoxication/drunkenness.

But you might ask: didn't Jesus make wine and drink wine?
Yes He did. But was it fermented wine as todays word "wine" suggests?
When talking about the word "wine" in the Bible it distinguishes 2 types of wine: fermented wine (rotten juice) and fresh grape juice (unfermented wine). In the Sanctuary services we find instructions that prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that alcohol is not only deadly to the soul, it is in fact unholy and unclean.
Leviticus 10:9-10 KJV
Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations: 10 And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean;
"But what about Timothy? He was advised to drink wine!"
Of course he was.
1 Timothy 5:23 KJV
Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities.
But what type of wine was it? Fermented or unfermented? Alcohol or grape juice? Ask any natural healer and they will tell you that grape juice can heal many ailments, including stomach problems. The "wine" in this verse is definitely unfermented. Fermented wine would make stomach problems worse.
Another verse states:
Proverbs 31:4-5 KJV
It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink: 5 Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted.
As Christians, are we not slated to reign with Christ as kings?
Revelation 5:10 KJV
And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
So to sum up this study: we are to not drink alcohol for it is sinful and it defiles the body. And what is it written about defiling our body?
1 Corinthians 3:17 KJV
If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
And if you still think that a little amount of alcohol is healthy for you, have you ever wondered why pregnant women cannot drink ANY amount of alcohol?

What is the Mark of the Beast? - 10th May 2021
Let us understand what the Mark of the Beast is. First let us note that everytime the mark is mentioned in the book of Revelation, the word "worship" is right there with it, therefore it has to do with obedience. And now, before we will lay down bible symbols and their definitions we must know that:
2 Peter 1:20 KJV
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the noscripture is of any private interpretation.
So now let us dive into the bible symbols. To know what the Mark of the Beast is we have to break it down.
What does the "mark" mean?
Job 10:14 says: "If I sin, then thou markest me"
When Cain slew Abel he received a mark for his sin (Gen 4:15).
The mark according to the Bible is what we get as a result of our action, in this case, sin. When we sin we choose to obey satan rather than God.
Romans 6:16 "Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?"
What does the "beast" mean?
Daniel 7:23 says: "Thus he said, The fourth BEAST shall be the fourth KINGDOM upon earth"
The beast would be a nation.
Next, in Revelation 17:3 we read: "and I saw a WOMAN sit upon a scarlet coloured BEAST"
What is a woman in prophecy?
Jermiah 6:2 says: "I have likened the daughter of ZION to a comely and delicate WOMAN."

So the Mark of the Beast translated would mean "the sin of the Vatican". Therefore it means that we are being marked by the sin of the Vatican, which we choose to commit. But what is the sin of the Vatican?
Since "sin is the transgression of the law." (1 John 3:4), the law being the 10 commandments, Satan will use the Vatican, the pope to make the whole world to break one of God's laws.
Therefore the Vatican by setting up sunday laws globally is fulfilling the prophecy of the Mark of the Beast, which will be enforced in the near future. The sin of the Vatican, or the transgression of the Vatican is enforcement of sunday laws which will be contrary to the 4th commandment of God. Let us understand what the Mark of the Beast is. First let us note that everytime the mark is mentioned in the book of Revelation, the word "worship" is right there with it, therefore it has to do with obedience. And now, before we will lay down bible symbols and their definitions we must know that:

So now let us dive into the bible symbols. To know what the Mark of the Beast is we have to break it down.
What does the "mark" mean?
Job 10:14 says: "If I sin, then thou markest me"
When Cain slew Abel he received a mark for his sin (Gen 4:15).
The mark according to the Bible is what we get as a result of our action, in this case, sin. When we sin we choose to obey satan rather than God.
Romans 6:16 "Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?"

Psalms 119:105 KJV
NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Next, when studying the Tabernacle, we can see in Exodus 25:31-36 a mention about the candlestick, which was to be giving light to the inside.
If we sum up all bowls, knops and flowers of the candlestick we will end up with the number of 66 in total. Seeing how the candlestick was to be "one beaten work of pure gold" it means that a new branch with bowls, knops and flowers could not be added. Therefore we can be sure that the apocryphas, or the Book of Mormon for example are not inspired and should not be considered the Word of God.
