📰 Deputy, a Company Who Builds Software for Work Schedule Management for Over 330,000 Businesses Celebrates and Introduces “International Shift Worker Sunday”
“Shift Worker Sunday highlights workers who make sacrifices every day, often miss special occasions or events, and work regardless of the time of the day, sometimes in unpredictable and non-compliant workplace cultures.”
“The truth is, we don't thank them enough. That's why Deputy has launched Shift Worker Sunday - a day for all of us to show our appreciation by giving back to the hourly workers who make a difference in communities worldwide."
“Deputy encourages people to show appreciation by making a small gesture on Sunday.”
In another blog article that was posted earlier by Deputy they stated:
“To acknowledge the unique challenges that shift workers face, International Shift Worker Sunday was created. On this day, shift workers are encouraged to take some time for themselves to relax and recharge. It’s a day to enjoy leisure activities, connect with family and friends, and get enough rest. If you’re a shift worker, make sure to take some time for yourself on this day. And if you know someone who works shifts, be sure to show them your support!”
The reason why this is important is because yes, we know that Sunday Laws will be forced upon the world as a whole, but, in order to a achieve this, everyone the world over must be in line with this goal. Businesses, governments, schools, transportation systems, churches and many more are aligning themselves and exalting the day of the Sun. Little do they know prophecy is being fulfilled before their eyes.

📰 Texas Newspaper called the “Odessa American” states that “Sunday is for rest and worship because doing so is essential, not optional”
While this article is penned about Christmas falling on a Sunday this year, it specifically highlights the “importance” of Sunday keeping, or Sunday sacredness.
The writer stated: “One, Sunday is the Lord’s Day, and the Lord’s Day is the day when Christians observe the Sabbath principle. Sunday is a day to rest and worship. It’s the day the early church met together for prayer, singing, preaching, and fellowship. It’s the day we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, and it’s a fitting day to celebrate the miracle of the incarnation that preceded Jesus’ sacrificial death and victorious resurrection.”
As prophesied, once again:
“The Sunday movement is now making its way in darkness. The leaders are concealing the true issue, and many who unite in the movement do not themselves see whither the undercurrent is tending. Its professions are mild and apparently Christian, but when it shall speak it will reveal the spirit of the dragon. It is our duty to do all in our power to avert the threatened danger. We should endeavor to disarm prejudice by placing ourselves in a proper light before the people. We should bring before them the real question at issue, thus interposing the most effectual protest against measures to restrict liberty of conscience” (Testimonies, vol. 5, p. 452)
How true, that the Sunday movement is being carried by professed Christians and looks “mild” on the outside. Yet, the true purpose is being hid and lurks behind closed doors - Sunday laws as a legal requirement.

The Greatest Work on Earth
"For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost." Luke 19:10
"Everyone who believes in Christ as a personal Saviour is under bonds to God to be pure and holy, to be a spiritual worker, seeking to save the lost, whether they are great or small, rich or poor, bond or free. The greatest work on earth is to seek and to save those who are lost, for whom Christ has paid the infinite price of His own blood. Everyone is to do active service, and if those who have been blessed with light do not diffuse light to others, they will lose the rich grace which has been bestowed upon them, because they neglect a sacred duty plainly marked out in the Word of God. As the light of the unfaithful one diminishes, his own soul is brought into peril; and the ones to whom he should have been a shining light miss the labor that God intended that they should have through the human instrument. Thus the sheep unsought is not brought back to the fold. God depends upon you, the human agent, to fulfil your duty to the best of your ability, and He Himself will give the increase. If human agents would but cooperate with the divine intelligences, thousands of souls would be rescued. The Holy Spirit would give devoted workers glimpses of Jesus that would brace them for every conflict, that would elevate and strengthen them, and make them more than conquerors. When two or three are met together to unite their counsel, and to send up their petitions, the promise is for them: "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you" (Luke 11:9). "If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?" (verse 13). The Lord has promised that where two or three are met together in His name, there will He be in the midst. Those who meet together for prayer will receive an unction from the Holy One." -Review and Herald, 06/30/1896.

📰 Pentagon Group to test the water on “Sunday closing” as it seeks to improve work-life balance of staff
“Pentagon said the three-month trial would ‘explore how this works for our staff and customers’, and would effectively move the company from a 5 ½-day sales working rota to a five-day cycle.”
“Our own experience parallels recent findings of industry-wide surveys that show the number of people shopping seriously for cars on a Sunday is now down to around just eight per cent of the weekly total.”
“In these times of national need for energy conservation and restraint, this seems an additional win for us all.”
“Its move follows on the heels of Burrows Motor Company doing the same thing on a permanent basis.” (Note: this article even calls Sunday the “seventh day” when it is not)
“Pentagon Group’s initial LinkedIn post announcing the move drew widespread praise.”
Week by week, month by month, the entire world is preparing for Sunday Law enforcement. Regardless of the motivation behind it,—in this case a better “work-life” balance and rest—Sunday closures and less and less work being performed on Sundays are being discussed. Why not choose another day? Why not choose Saturday? Or Monday for that matter? Because friends, remember, it must be the Sunday that will be ordained by the world. Christian prophecy will not fail.

Let Down Your Net
"Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men." Luke 5:10
"Jesus asks the use of Simon's boat. Although weary with his toil and disappointment, Simon cheerfully complies with the request of Christ. The unpretentious fishing boat is made the pulpit from which come forth the words of Christ. Surely the little craft of Simon's was never so honored as on this occasion. It had never been put to so profitable use by its owner. Jesus proclaims Bible truth; He speaks words of eternal life. The truths spoken in that sermon... [have gone] all over the world, and accomplished a work that eternity alone will reveal. When the judgment shall sit, and the books of record shall be opened, and the history of this effort is revealed, it will be seen that a light... [then] sprang up to be reflected all through the world through time and through eternity. This experience has been repeated to thousands of the messengers of the Lord Jesus, and has inspired hope and courage and faith. "Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught" (Luke 5:4). The night was the most favorable time for the fishermen to work successfully, for in the clear water the fish would in the daylight see the net, and avoid it. Having toiled all night unsuccessfully, it seemed useless, according to human wisdom, to let down the net. "Master," replied Simon, "we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net" (verse 5). This was true obedience. Here is an instance of implicit trust in the words of Christ, in spite of an objectionable past experience. Our first lesson is to learn the will of God, even though we pass through trying circumstances, and then, knowing His will, to obey unquestioningly. Such obedience will always be rewarded. What was the result of Simon's obedience? "And when they had done this, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their nets brake. And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink" (verses 6, 7). Jesus designed this experience to be an encouragement to these fishermen in their future efforts in fishing for souls... What a powerful influence this wonderful transaction produced upon the minds of these humble fishermen! Christ's power had drawn the fish into Simon's net, but these honest-hearted men were themselves completely caught in the net that Christ has prepared for them. "They forsook all, and followed him" (verse 11)." -Manunoscript 79, 10/01/1906

Obstinacy--Barrier to All Improvement
"I knew that thou art obstinate, and thy neck is an iron sinew, and thy brow brass." Isaiah 48:4
"Obstinacy is a bad trait of character, and if not overcome, is the means of doing a great deal of harm. He who is obstinate will not yield whatever sentiments he may entertain. Narrowness of mind is the cause of obstinacy. There are men of intellectual capacity who have allowed obstinacy to develop in their character, and they refuse to believe things that are right, because they themselves did not originate them. Obstinacy is a barrier to all improvement. An obstinate man will not be readily convinced of anything which his sight cannot take in. He does not know what it means to walk by faith. He adheres to his own plans and opinions, be they right or wrong, because he has already adopted this line of thought. He may have abundant reason to see that he is wrong; his brethren may raise their voices against his opinions and his methods for making a success of the work, but he cherishes an almost immovable bar against conviction.... He will suggest sentiments that are unsanctioned by the experience or judgment of men who are fully as intelligent and as wise as he is. He will make assertions as though he had all the aftersight, and will uphold his ideas as all sufficient. Self has for so long been the ruling element, that the unfortunate man considers it a virtue to have, as he thinks, a mind of his own. If his way is not followed, he will raise objections on every occasion, in small matters and in large. He will hold to his words, whether they are true, or entirely false. This practice, often repeated, grows into confirmed habit, and becomes character.... The Lord is not pleased to have this spirit hindering and marring His work. He calls for men who will carry out His will, men who will be controlled by His Holy Spirit." -Manunoscript 159, 12/08/1898

📰 “Thou Shalt Not Hold the Rose Parade on a Sunday” Says the Sun Newspaper
On Decemeber 12th, 2022, The San Bernardino Sun reported:
“Thou shalt not hold the Rose Parade on a Sunday.”
“Thus spake Tournament of Roses officials in 1893, the first time New Year’s Day fell on the Lord’s Day. That year, organizers decided to move the New Year’s festivities to Jan. 2 in order to avoid frightening horses tied outside local churches and disrupting worship services.”
“It is the 21st time New Year’s Day falls on a Sunday in the century since the Tournament of Roses began.”
“The Rev. Amy Aitken, pastor at First United Methodist Church (FUMC) in Pasadena, doesn’t worry about spooked horses outside the church doors these days.”
Tradition. It’s what makes the world and all it’s churches go round.
There is currently a spiritual battle happening between the pure religion of the Word of God as it is written in the Holy Scriptures, and the religion of tradition, doctrines of men, and a form of godliness without the power.
2 Timothy 3:5 KJV
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
As the popularity of Sunday rest begins to grow, those who oppose it’s movement and are obedient to God’s true seventh day sabbath (Saturday) will be looked down upon and derided.
“Those who honor the Bible Sabbath will be denounced as enemies of law and order, as breaking down the moral restraints of society, causing anarchy and corruption, and calling down the judgments of God upon the earth. Their conscientious scruples will be pronounced obstinacy, stubbornness, and contempt of authority. They will be accused of disaffection toward the government. Ministers who deny the obligation of the divine law will present from the pulpit the duty of yielding obedience to the civil authorities as ordained of God. In legislative halls and courts of justice, commandment-keepers will be censured and mis-represented. A false coloring will be given to their words; the worst possible construction will be put upon their motives.” {SOP IV 409.2}

How God Sees Greatness
"Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?" Daniel 4:30
"The strength of nations and of individuals is not found in the opportunities and facilities that appear to make them invincible; it is not found in their boasted greatness. That which alone can make them great or strong is the power and purpose of God. They themselves, by their attitude toward His purpose, decide their own destiny. Human histories relate man's achievements, his victories in battle, his success in climbing to worldly greatness. God's history describes man as heaven views him. In the divine records all his merit is seen to consist in his obedience to God's requirements. His disobedience is faithfully chronicled as meriting the punishment he will surely receive. In the light of eternity it will be seen that God deals with men in accordance with the momentous question of obedience or disobedience. Hundreds of years before a people has come upon the stage of action, the prophetic pen, under the dictation of the Holy Spirit, has traced its history... The voice of God, heard in past ages, is sounding down along the line from century to century, through generations that have come on the stage of action and passed away. Shall God speak, and His voice not be respected? What power mapped out all this history, that nations, one after another, should fill in their predicted time and place, unconsciously witnessing to the truth of which they themselves knew not the meaning? ... To every man, God has assigned a place in His great plan. By truth or falsehood, by folly or wisdom, each is fulfilling a purpose, bringing about certain results... In the eyes of the world, those who serve God may appear weak. They may be apparently sinking beneath the billows, but with the next billow they are seen rising nearer to their haven. "I give unto them eternal life," saith our Lord; "... neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand" (John 10:28). Though kings shall be cast down, and nations removed, the souls that through faith link themselves with God's purposes shall abide forever. "They that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever" (Daniel 12:3)." -Manunoscript 36, 12/09/1896

Happy New Year!
"So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom." Psalm 90:12
"Another year of life is now in the past. A new year is opening before us. What will be its record? What will we each inscribe upon its spotless pages? The manner in which we spend each passing day will decide this question... Let us enter upon the new year with our hearts cleansed from the defilement of selfishness and pride. Let us put away every sinful indulgence, and seek to become faithful, diligent learners in the school of Christ. A new year opens its unsullied pages before us. What shall we write upon them? ... Seek to begin this year with right purposes and pure motives, as beings who are accountable to God. Ever bear in mind that your acts are daily passing into history by the pen of the recording angel. You must meet them again when the Judgment shall sit and the books shall be opened... If we connect with God, the source of peace, and light, and truth, His Spirit will flow through us as a channel, to refresh and bless all around us. This may be the last year of life to us. Shall we not enter upon it with thoughtful consideration? Shall not sincerity, respect, benevolence, mark our deportment toward all? Let us withhold nothing from Him who gave His precious life for us. . . . Let us all consecrate to God the property He has entrusted to us. Above all, let us give Him ourselves, a freewill offering. May the beginning of this year be a time that shall never be forgotten--a time when Christ shall come in among us, and say, "Peace be unto you." John 20:19. Brethren and sisters, I wish you, one and all, a happy new year. "We live in deeds, not years; in thoughts, not breaths; In feelings, not in figures on a dial. We should count time by heart-throbs. He most lives Who thinks most, feels the noblest, acts the best." RH, 01/03/1882

Next Door to Heaven
"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Matthew 18:20
"Work, and watch, and pray for souls as they that must give an account. This year, try the Lord's prescribed remedy for evil. Let every man do that which the Lord requires him to do, looking unto Jesus, who is the owner of every soul... Let small companies assemble together in the evening or early morning to study the Bible for themselves. Let them have a season of prayer that they may be strengthened and enlightened and sanctified by the Holy Spirit... If you will do this, a great blessing will come to you from the One who gave His whole life to service, the One who redeemed you by His own life. You must have the power of the Holy Spirit, else you cannot be an overcomer. What testimonies you should bear of the loving acquaintance you have made with your fellow workers in these precious seasons when seeking the blessing of God. Let each tell his experience in simple words... The work of every believer is aggressive. It is a daily warfare. Christ is saying... "Ye are my witnesses" (Isaiah 43:10). Think it; speak it; act it. Heaven is just next door. Open the door heavenward and close the door earthward... Will you hear His voice and open the door of the heart to Jesus? Will you love Him who gave His life for you? Let little companies meet together to study the Scriptures. You will lose nothing by this, but will gain much. Angels of God will be in your gathering, and as you feed upon the Bread of Life, you will receive spiritual sinew and muscle. You will be feeding, as it were, upon the leaves of the tree of life. By this means only can you maintain your integrity. Fidelity to Jesus Christ will ensure a most precious reward. Let each soul strive for eternal life, acknowledging Christ in word and spirit. He has pledged His word that He will acknowledge you and me, gladly, heartily, joyously, before His heavenly Father. Is not this worth striving for? See what you can do personally to be true to principle, to maintain uncorruptness in every phase of your life; and you will behold His glory." -Letter 2, 01/03/1900
