I quit my government job today. I used to make safety maps for people at sea for the National Geographic Intelligence Agency. I watched as people I trained in the Air Force used the training against protestors over and over again. People I know. I couldn't stay part of the system. I turn in my badge at NGA tomorrow. I cannot stand by and watch African Americans be attacked like this, especially by the guardsmen I helped train. Fuck the state, fuck the system. Black Lives Matter. Protests are Praxis. Stand up and fight for your lives because otherwise no one will listen. And feel free to fucking share this. I'm ashamed of my past, but I'm sure as fuck not ashamed of my future standing beside you all.
