Currently the reactionary base, including all of its subgroups, but not including the U.S. Military have us out-gunned at a tremendous ratio. If we are at all serious about community defense and mutual aid, then we need to invest in the infrastructure that will afford us protection from the terrorists that seek to destroy our progress.

Our revolutionary moment will not amount to much if we continue to propagate in-fighting about the validity of guns and violence. Ultimately, if we do not arm ourselves, our aspirations to end global violence will be thwarted by those who will use regardless use violence against us.

It is the paradox of tolerance: if we tolerate fascism, then our totality of tolerance falls. Similarly, if we do not appreciate a limited capacity of violence to protect ourselves, then violence by reactionaries will only continue and our mission will have failed.

Statement from Seattle organizers about car attacks on protestors on July 4, during which Summer Taylor was killed. There were multiple incidents that day. Earlier, organizers claim that off-duty SPD officer Molly Clark (Badge #5677) attempted to drive through the protest, after having been witnessed multiple times previously circling the protest in her car yealling hate speech at protestors. Organizers are calling for her arrest for attempted murder in the attempted attack. Statement here:

Hearing reports that potentially four pedestrians were hit by the car in Blommington. Reports that one is severely injured. People are apparently still on the ground there. Lots of charged energy going into organizing for tomorrow.

This is unrelated to the BLM protests, but I felt that it's important that we get some attention to it because its the same story of the state using authoritarian display of power to fuck over minorities.

The Australian government is using armed police to lock down 3000 people for 15 days (originally it was supposed to be 5).

We're now entering the second day of this lockdown. No adequate food has been provided. There are a lot of Muslims in this lockdown and they're not getting halal food. There are a lot of people who have a dependence on alcohol and drugs, and they're going through withdrawal right now.

Charities are stepping up to provide food while the state is still using weapons and police to keep people from living their homes.

Laundry facilities in these buildings have been shut down. On average these apartments house between 5-8 people each.

This is absolutely fucking ridiculous - and it's receiving nearly no international attention.

The Australian Government is starving 3000 minorities and justifying it.
