Anonymous federal agents attacked "Portland moms" using batons and tear gas while carrying assault rifles a few hours ago.
To be clear, these are not black bloc anarchos, rioters, looters or crims out for trouble. It's peacefully protesting mums, mostly just standing there with placards.

Portland first aid tent. The red stuff is pepper spray, sprayed onto medics and their supplies by federal agents.
During conflict it is a war crime to attack an unarmed medic performing their task, clearly civilians supporting each other are not afforded the same luxury.
