#CentralPA “Basically, CNN should know about this, because they know about every other Black person shot by the police and I’ve haven’t seen it on CNN. Not one time,” said Malik Nock, Moore’s brother.

#CentralPA "In contrast, Lancaster Police released bodycam footage the same day an officer killed Munoz, a 27-year-old man with a knife who ran at a police officer outside his home. City leadership held a press conference the next day, which sparked a conversation about mental health resources and social workers in the police force.

When Reading police shot and critically injured Moore, the department issued denoscriptions of the incident, investigators safeguarded footage of the shooting and city leaders like Mayor Eddie Moran limited their public comments."

#CentralPA Both incidents happened 30 miles from each other only 9 hours apart. Reading and Lancaster are in neighboring counties. Have similar cultural practices. And this is deeply disturbing how the city of Reading kept quiet the attempted murder of a black transwoman, Roxanne Moore, while its neighboring city Lancaster sensationalized and villainized Ricardo and stole the headlines. Even I wasn't aware of Roxanne Moore being in the hospital until days later.

#CentralPA One thing is for sure. Ricardo Munoz should still be alive, and we should be talking about Roxanne Moore.
