On scanners, they made us think that they were friends by saying something along the lines of "watch these folks in orange shirts they might try something" we were not prepared for this tactic from the city, and we apologize about missing this call. #Minneapolis A review of protesters response. Many backed up when ordered to leave but were met with a line of police coming from the direction they were told to go. This was an unconstitutional kettling event and we hope NLG brings that up when they discuss both of their advocates illegal arrests and the defense of the over 30 other folks arrested too.

BK: Update - 5 people have been arrested, 1 being arrested for walking down the street while the police were executing an unrelated no-knock warrant. 4 others have been arrested. 2 have been sent to the hospital.

Most people have dispersed. For those who want to come out to jail support some people are being arraigned at Brooklyn Central Booking at around 9:30am.

#Philly Reports include that 4 officers fired at the suspect. The suspect apparently fired at police. There has been no body camera footage released. There is apparently a 19 year old victim in the carjacking. But until body camera footage is released, there is no way to tell if officers fired or if the suspect fired first. Until body camera footage is released, PPD is covering something up. Until body camera footage is released, we should be planning to hold the city accountable for their actions. After body camera footage is released, we should still be holding PPD accountable for their actions.

#Philly Philly Police do not have the right to carry out extra judicial executions. Regardless of the crime committed by the suspect. They have their own individual rights to self defense. But lethal use of force should always be questioned. Especially when there has been 0 evidence released by officials. We have seen police cater mass murderers with Burger King before.
