As long as they are targeted, there is a need for the New Underground Railroad to protect and save lives like the Thompsons who just left their sanctuary in a West Philly Church after 843 days living in the basement.

If you're a leader of faith, or you have the space for sanctuary seekers, this is your call to action to assist on the New Underground Railroad to protect immigrants and the homeless from fascist violence. You are needed to help liberate your community members when they are targeted. Churches have special protections that prevent the state from interfering with people from practicing faith. Churches across the nation were a part of the original underground railroad providing places for runaway slaves to hide and live. In world war 2 churches and people across Europe hid Jews from persecution. You have a role in Americas uprisings and that is to be there to protect the homeless and immigrants from persecution this winter while the state continues the violence against them. ICE had invaded peoples homes and kidnapped and imprisoned their children. In Georgia whistleblowers revealed that mass hysterectomies being performed on immigrants in detention. Several cities arrest the homeless sleeping outside in the winter. They often have nowhere to go and their survival rates of living outside drops in the winter. You have roles to help these people when the government is targeting them. So do that. Aid by providing spaces for liberation. Do you have an affinity group with a private hall? Open it up to folks in need of sanctuary. Do you have extra homes that are unoccupied? Let someone seeking sanctuary stay there. Be a part of The New Underground Railroad and protect the most vulnerable members of your community.

Our condolences to the families across the nation who lost a family member this Christmas Day to a police involved shooting. We live in a nation who on its biggest holiday sent paramilitary officers to murder civilians in our communities. No family should be without a loved one because of state violence that happened on Christmas or any other day.

There were police involved shootings in these cities last night. That is unacceptable.

I don't defend nor do I envy the position Lincoln was in having all his troops in the civil war and then having to then deal with genocidal white settlers in Minnesota kidnapping a community of over 300 people to execute them. Regardless of which side you think Lincoln was on, this wouldnt have happened if it wasnt for the genocidal white settlers and they bear the blame for the crime. This would become an event in history that Hitler and the Nazis would take influence from to carry out similar attacks on Jews and Slavic people. It would be an event that influenced Teddy Roosevelt to carry our similar attacks on the Cheyenne and other indigenous communities. We must remember this event and the suffering of the Dakota people.

Update on total Police involved shootings. This is number 34 for the year involving Philadelphia Police

34 in a year tells me Philly Police have not changed in decades. They dont deserve justification to continue being employed for that line of duty. Abolish the police, free the prisoners, and come up with a new system. There is no faith in justice when 34 times in a year the police play vigilante executioner on civilians and lie about it in the report. If police can commit crimes then the people can commit crimes. PPD has been in an arms race with it's people buying military equipment the past decade and that is not ok. These murders are not ok. This coverup is not ok.
