🔊Weekly Market Highlights #51: June 12 - June 18

✨The third week of June 2023 saw the arrival of a series of important news affecting the Bitcoin price. First, the US CPI continued to fall, causing the Fed to stop raising interest rates for the first time in more than 18 months - driving the price of BTC to dump sharply.

✨Over the past week, the crypto market increased by ~$17B (from ~$1,047B to ~$1,064B) of its total capitalization.

✨BTC Stalls at $26.5K
✅The Fed's decision to pause its interest rate hiking policy didn't affect BTC, but only initially. BTC was dumped hard just a few hours after the Fed's announcement and plummeted to a three-month low of under $24,8K on Friday.

✅As the markets shed billions of dollars in days and fear returned, the bulls finally intervened and didn't allow further declines.

✅Perhaps fueled by BlackRock's filing for a Bitcoin Spot ETF, the cryptocurrency bounced off by a grand before it skyrocketed to a weekly high of $26,8K on Saturday morning.

✨APT Steals the Show
✅BSCS is trading at $0,009704, +23,52% from its 7-day all-time low of $0,007856.

✅The alternative coins went through similar volatility during the week but recovered most losses. Ethereum, for instance, had declined to just over $1,6K, which was a four-month low. It pumped and now trading around ~1,7K

✅BNB was harmed the most following the SEC's lawsuit against Binance. It charted a six-month low at $222 a few days back but is close to $243 now.

✅XRP and DOT are slightly green from the larger-cap alts, while ADA, DOGE, TRX, SOL, MATIC, and LTC have minor losses. SHIB has pumped by over 4%.

✅APT has gained the most from the top 100. APT is up by 7% and trades at ~$6,7.

✨Bitcoin Fear and Greed Index is 48 - Neutral, higher than at the beginning of the week (47)
