✨ The cryptocurrency market last week faced a big shock when Binance agreed to pay a $4.3 billion fine to end an investigation with the US Department of Justice, and CEO Changpeng Zhao was forced to resign. This information is putting a big question mark on the future of Binance in particular and the crypto industry in general.

✨The appearance of Layer-2 Blast quickly attracted more than $550M TVL after 6 days of launch.

✨Security attacks targeting crypto projects have also returned, with the latest subjects to have funds siphoned off being HTX's HECO Chain and the DEX KyberSwap.

✨Over the past week, the crypto market decreased by ~$4B (from ~$1,426B to ~$1,422B) of its total capitalization.

✨BTC Stalls Beneath $38K
✅Right after the incident of Binance and CZ, BTC dumped to a weekly low of $36.6K before it bounced off rather immediately by a grand. More fluctuations followed, and the upturn came on Wednesday when the bulls initiated a notable leg-up that drove Bitcoin to an 18-month peak of $38.5K.

✅However, the asset failed to maintain its momentum and retraced back down to under $38K, where it has been stuck for the past couple of days, currently trading around ~$37,4K

✨Notable Names Of The Week
✅On a weekly scale, BLUR has emerged as the top gainer. The NFT platform's native token has soared by more than 70% and sits at $0.6. STEPN (34%), APE (30%), MINA (30%), and KLAY (27%) follow suit.

✅MATIC, KAS, and NEAR suffered large weekly losses of up to ~12%. Most other altcoins are in the slightly red.

✅BSCS is trading at $0,01152, +5,99% from its 7-day all-time low of $0,01087.
