🔊Weekly Market Highlights #89: March 11 - March 17

✨Last week, the cryptocurrency market witnessed a series of new milestones. The new BTC ATH is $73.7K. Ethereum successfully deployed the Dencun upgrade and reduced transaction fees on Layer-2. Avalanche Foundation revealed it holds 5 community coins.

✨Over the past week, the crypto market's total capitalization decreased by ~$22B (from ~$2,588B to ~$2,566B).

✨BTC Dumps
✅Monday started high as BTC surged from $67K after retracing Sunday night to over $70K to hit a new all-time high. The asset continued to increase in the following days and peaked at $73.8K, the current ATH.

✅Then, the bears finally took control of the market and pushed Bitcoin below $66K on Friday. BTC recovered some ground on Saturday and even challenged $70K.

✅However, it did not succeed there and was quickly pushed to a 10-day low of $64.5K. At the time of writing, BTC is trading around $68.5K

✨Altcoins in Red
✅Altcoins have followed BTC on the way down with large drops. ETH gained much traction until its rejection on Friday when it exceeded $4K. However, ETH lost that level two days ago and is currently at $3.6K.

✅Similar declines were also evident in BNB, SOL, and XRP. Even more losses came from SHIB, DOGE, MATIC, and DOT.

✅Mid- and lower-cap coins have also fallen in price over the past week. This has led to another decline in the total market capitalization, which is now down below $2.6T

✅Avalanche Foundation revealed it holds 5 community coins, including $COQ, $KIMBO, $TECH, $GEC, and $NOCHILL. AVAX price also increased by ~50% during the week, up over $60

✅BSCS is trading at $0,01452: +8,75% from its 7-day all-time low of $0,01335.

✨Bitcoin Fear and Greed Index is 77 - Extreme Greed, lower than at the beginning of the week (82)

🔊Weekly Market Highlights #90: March 18 - March 24

✨During the third week of March 2024, the cryptocurrency market saw fluctuations in BTC. Trading days consistently showed more outflows than inflows of ETFs, indicating diminishing buying pressure. However, the announcement from the FED that interest rates would remain unchanged spurred another increase in BTC prices.

✨Over the past week, the crypto market's total capitalization decreased by ~$21B (from ~$2,566B to ~$2,545B).

✨BTC Price Fluctuates
✅Last business week started on a highly unfavorable note for BTC, which had recovered most of the losses from the end of the previous one. On Monday, BTC stood at $69K but quickly dropped by $5K.

✅Tuesday saw even more declines when BTC slipped to a two-week low of under $61K. This was primarily driven by certain investors' profit-taking and uncertainty about the upcoming FOMC meeting later that day.

✅Once the FED said it would not pivot from its current monetary strategy, BTC went on the offensive, jumped by 4% immediately, and soared past $68K by Wednesday

✅Nevertheless, that rally was short-lived, and BTC started losing ground in the next few days. Currently, the cryptocurrency trades at around $66K.

✨TON On The Top 10
✅The bustle on the TON network has pushed its price to ~$5.3, up ~36% this week, entering the top 10 Altcoins by capitalization

✅On a weekly scale, the most prominent price increases are ICP (~34%), FTM (~32%), STX (~31%), BCH (~20%), APT (~14%)

✅On the other hand, red also appeared on some large projects, with a decrease of 2% - 15%: NEAR (~14%), TAO (~11%), AVAX (~7%), MATIC (~5 %), ADA (~4%)

✅BSCS is trading at $0,01162: +10,60% from its 7-day all-time low of $0,0105.

✨Bitcoin Fear and Greed Index is 75 - Greed, lower than at the beginning of the week (77)
