✨The cryptocurrency market remained relatively calm over the past week, mainly due to the absence of major macroeconomic events. Attention centered on the Fed’s decision to steady interest rates, preparing for potential inflationary pressures triggered by the Trump administration’s tariffs.

✨Over the past week, the crypto market total capitalization increased by ~$95B (from ~$2716B to ~$2811B).

✨BTC Stalls at $84K
✅BTC was trading at $84K last Sunday before sliding downward on Monday and Tuesday, hitting a weekly low just above $81K as traders awaited the outcome of the FOMC meeting on Wednesday.

✅Following the announcement that the Fed would keep interest rates unchanged, BTC experienced some volatility but quickly surged to a multi-week high above $87K during Thursday’s Asian session.

✅The rally was short-lived, however, as bears regained control later on Thursday and into Friday, pulling BTC down to $83K - its sharpest drop of the week. Still, BTC held that support level and has since recovered to slightly above $84K

✅The weekend has remained quiet, with minimal price movement.

✨The crypto market experienced minimal significant shifts last week, with signs of a pullback emerging as investors prepared for April 2, when the Trump administration could announce fresh tariffs to restore U.S. trade equilibrium, a development likely to adversely affect financial markets.

✨Over the past week, the crypto market total capitalization decreased by ~$138B (from ~$2811B to ~$2673B).

✨BTC Struggles at $83K
✅Last weekend was uneventful, with BTC’s price being $84K. However, on Sunday evening, it gained momentum and surged to $88.8K, marking its highest level in over two weeks. The tide turned as the community braced for a push toward $90K, and BTC began losing steam.

✅After a few days of sideways trading between $86K and $88K, BTC slipped below the lower range on Friday, dropping to $83.4K. It held that level briefly, but bearish pressure intensified over the past 24 hours.

✅Yesterday evening, BTC hit a 12-day low of $81.6K. It bounced back decently from this dip, recovering over $1K, but remains red on daily and weekly charts.

✨Featured News
✅Ethereum hits a new low as ETH burn volume drops to a record 53 ETH per day, reflecting weak network demand. On-chain activity and fees have also reached multi-year lows, causing the ETH supply to rise by 0.76% annually, shifting it back to an inflationary state.

✅A trader manipulated JELLYJELLY's price on Hyperliquid by shorting and self-liquidating, forcing the HLP vault to absorb a $12M loss. Hyperliquid’s response, including delisting JELLYJELLY, has raised questions about its decentralized nature.

✅GameStop plans to issue $1.3B in zero-coupon convertible bonds, due in 2030, to raise funds for buying BTC as a treasury reserve asset, following MicroStrategy’s financial model. The stock surged over 11% after the announcement but later fell 5.5% in after-hours trading.
