🤑 Canada's leading bank uses the Ripple network to make cross-border payments.
National Australia Bank (NAB) is working with Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) to use Ripple technology to make international payments.
NAB said this in a statement about the international banking alliance, which will include Israel's Bank Leumi and CIBC.
"We are excited to work with CIBC and have already collaborated with them on the use of Ripple blockchain technology for international payment transfers between our organizations as part of a proof of concept. We believe this technology has the potential not only for real-time international payments, but also to improve the efficiency and security of our payment systems," the press release said.
The alliance involves the exchange of information and innovative strategies as well as joint development of products and services.
