It’s not that she didn’t pay taxes, it’s just that she didn’t have as much coming out of her checks as she was supposed to

Instead of giving her any time to address this, and set up a payment plan because she’s struggling, the IRS just took the money

“I thought people can have back taxes for a while. I didn't pay for three weeks and the IRS reached into my bank account that contains barely enough money and takes my $700. Are they doing that to millionaires? Are they doing that to people who get tax cuts everywhere? No, of course they're not.

I just feel really violated and like pushed while I'm down because it's like I make minimum wage, which is why I had to have two jobs — I'm struggling — I'm on food stamps”
