After careful consideration, we have decided to refocus our efforts on self-custodial wallet software, and international expansion outside of Singapore. To stay lean and focused, we have withdrawn our application for a licence under the Payment Services Act 2019 before the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

We've been receiving many queries from users about Based preventing users from wash trading. In our conversations with users, we tend to discourage users from wash trading as it is not desirable.
Our goal at Based is to build the best trading tools to ensure Hyperliquid users gain an edge versus traders on CEX. While everyone is generally bullish on our ecosystem as a whole, our team has no intention of extracting fees at our users' expense. This is also why our builder fee is amongst one of the lower-mid tier ones.
While we do not actively hunt wash traders, it is important to understand that we wish for our traders to profit not only from our ecosystem, but it is also important to us that they profit from trading activities.
This is one of our most important goals in building Based! Our team is generally strict on Sybils who provide no economic benefit to our ecosystem, and are generally net extractors.
Other than that, we tend to favor our loyal users who stay. We have some updates coming out for some of our core loyal users soon!

Based is launching a Permanent XP Boost Program to reward our loyal Based users.
$PUP was distributed solely to the Based community, with larger allocations given to bigger holders. This allowed us to identify and reward those who have been loyal from the start.
XP Boost Criteria
For Airdrop Recipients:
• Hold 35% or more of your airdropped PUP → 25% XP boost
• Hold 70% or more of your airdropped PUP → 50% XP boost
• Hold 110% or more (added beyond your airdrop) → 60% XP boost
