Season 2 prediction Gold has been distributed.

The Gold distribution epoch begins on 16 November, with each epoch lasting three days. This epoch covers activity from 16 Nov 00:00 UTC to 29 Nov 00:00 UTC. Gold for the past epochs have been distributed, and future gold for prediction markets will be distributed automatically.

Gold rewards are calculated based on builder fees paid on the prediction market and follow the same Gold rate used for trading fees.

Builder Fee Update for Prediction Market

We will be updating our builder fees for the prediction market to ensure that high-odds outcomes are charged lower fees. This aligns fees with expected payout and creates a more balanced trading environment.

The change will also make Based more attractive for users, as fees will now scale intelligently with the probability of each contract.

Previously, placing an order at a $0.99 share price for 100 shares would incur a 1% fee, costing $0.99 on a $99 order. Under the new model, the fee for the same order would be just $0.07, making it roughly 14x cheaper!

Trading fees are now calculated as a variable percentage of the expected payout for each contract.
