Attention BasedApp community,
To ensure the best possible experience for all participants, we are staggering the phases for the upcoming BasedGold Mint.
👉 Phase 1 will start as scheduled in 12 hours (10 AM SGT).
👉 Phase 2 will commence three days later on 22 Aug at 10 AM SGT and will end on 26 Aug at 9 AM SGT.
👉 Phase 3 mint remains scheduled for 26 Aug at 10 AM SGT.
There will be no changes to the mint price or quantity.
We look forward to your participation in the BasedGold Genesis NFT mint!

To accommodate those who missed out, all BasedApp users (regardless of points) can mint in-app for Phase 2 and 3, with one mint per user.
Pay with WETH from your BasedApp wallet or XSGD from your card (ensure funds are ready). In-app mint will be on Polygon.
In-app mint grants a Gold Card (not NFT) by year-end. Prefer a tradable NFT? Contact support in-app after minting and we will send it to you.

1/ System upgrade for standard card users
Great news! In February 2025, we’re upgrading all standard card users to our V2 system (Gold Card users are already on V2). This upgrade brings enhanced features like direct deposits from exchanges and wallets, as well as support for @solana deposits.
2/ FX fee updates
Starting 1 Feb 2025:
- Standard cards: 1.5% FX markup.
- Gold cards: No changes, still 0% FX markup.
- Visa rates will still apply.
3/ Discontinuation of Investment Features
From 1 Feb 2025, we’ll discontinue:
- XSGD Earn Program
- Saving Vaults (withdrawal-only mode)
- Recurring Swaps
