My oath of office is to the U.S. Constitution, not to any foreign nation. Congress is trying yet again to ram through a spending bill – one that I doubt anyone has actually read – and there’s no oversight included into how the money is being spent.

All I requested is an amendment to be included in the final bill that allows for the Inspector General to oversee how funds are spent. Anyone who is opposed to this is irresponsible.

While I sympathize with the people of Ukraine, and commend their fight against Putin, we cannot continue to spend money we don’t have. Passing this bill brings the total we’ve sent to Ukraine to nearly $54 billion over the course of two months.

It’s threatening our own national security, and it’s frankly a slap in the face to millions of taxpayers who are struggling to buy gas, groceries, and find baby formula.

Self-protection is a God-given right. Our founders ensured that right in our Constitution. The actions of a criminal should never prevent you, a law abiding citizen, from exercising that right. We MUST start protecting our schools. We can all see our world is getting crazier, so we need to start counteracting that through mental health help and protecting our children. Schools need one entrance/exit, armed and trained staff which could be hired veterans, trained CCW holders, and so forth. There are real solutions to these problems, let’s start talking about those.

Just by cutting 6 cents on the dollar each year…

It’s not that hard.

The decision to explode the national debt and sell out our financial future is a CHOICE the Swamp is making.

Not one Democrat or Republican has proposed a budget for our country. I have. Here’s my plan: Cut 6 pennies per dollar spent and we balance our budget in 5 years. If American families must balance their budgets, then so should their government.
