"dont speak negatively about yourself, even as a joke. Your body doesn’t know the difference. Words are energy and cast spells, that's why it's called spelling. Change the way you speak about yourself and you can change your life. What you're not changing, you're also choosing."

"
-do you ever worry that you're making stuff up for attention?
+when it comes to mental health? nope!
-why not?
+i have two super good reasons:
+one you cant "fake things accidentally"
+it has to be a conscious choice
+i know i didnt choose to
-whats the other reason?
+how many people have you told about your symptoms?
-like, nobody
+exactly!
in order to do something for "attention", you have to actually tell people!"

"if you're offline or away and i message you something (like a link to a meme or a picture or w/e) honestly just assume that i'm just leaving it there for when you get back and notexpecting you to answer straight away. i don't need you to respond with “hey, sorry, i wasn't at the computer!” or anything. i was leaving u a gift for later.
This also applies if you're online and just don’t want to or have the energy to deal with humans in the moment. Just because we have the ability to reply in real time does not mean we have the obligation."

"1.7% of people are intersex, 2% have green eyes, and 1.5 percent are redheads, but yeah red is a natural hair color, green is a natural eye color, and being intersex is a 'deformity’ Keep pretending gender isn't a social construct
0.0006% of people in the world live in Ireland and we all agree that People Live In Ireland."

socialization
"May you never be the reason why someone who loves to sing, doesn't anymore. Or why someone who dressed so differently now wears standard clothing. Or why someone who always spoke of their dreams so wildly is now silent about them. May you never be the reason of someone giving up on a part of them because you were demotivating, non appreciative or even worse, sarcastic about it."

chronic illness, body, autism, invisible problems
"people who are in pain dont always look like they're suffering.
it’s especially common among chronic pain patients who’ve been ill for a long time, as well as autistic people. going slack and moving as little as possible, including the muscles of the face, is in fact a sensible reaction to intense pain: it conserves energy. someone who looks outwardly relaxed or bored may be screaming on the inside.
if this is you, i just want you to know you deserve to be taken at your word when you say you’re in pain. you shouldn’t have to put on a fake grimace in order to give a convincing performance of what you’re actually going through.
if you have never experienced it yourself, please pass on this information so more people will be aware."
