It's no secret that the knowledge of the same planetary structure, astronomy, the distances of the planets and stars, all this was known to many civilizations of the past.

And this is not just words, but a fact confirmed by many findings, from star charts, to chronicles describing the structure of the solar system and the stars beyond.

Obviously, without equipment and technology, it is impossible to study space in principle. And many of the knowledge, our civilization has received quite recently, but judging by all appearances, some ancient civilizations knew thousands of years ago no less. But how - this is another question🙃

The Arecibo Message was a radio signal sent on November 16, 1974, from the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico. The message was composed by Carl Sagan and his comrades in honor of the discovery of a powerful radio telescope. The language of the message was a universal mathematical binary code, which encoded the most important information about humanity: what is DNA, the size of man, data about humanity as a whole, about the solar system...

But Arecibo's message was more a demonstration of humanity's technical capabilities than a real attempt to make contact with the galactic inhabitants. Simply because there is no one to create them in such numbers in this lifeless area. Even now, the task is almost impossible.

But it is worth looking at maps before the 17th century, where forests are green and rivers flow, and the idea of the lifelessness of the region becomes questionable. And if there are cities, it means there was a civilization which could create these objects. Everything is simple, but it is worth a little "move" the official dating.
