According to NASA, six Apollo missions - 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17 - landed on the Moon in 1969-1972. On the image of the Moon, the landing sites of each mission are marked, and each mission had a photo against the background of the Moon and the American flag.
The US flag is successful - bright contrasting colors of white/red/blue. The flags in the photo remain the usual color, so there is nothing wrong with the color rendition. Except that according to Soviet and the latest modern scientific data the Moon is brown, while in the American photos it is gray.
