Scientists know for sure that millions of years ago there were rivers, lakes, flowering gardens and most likely even the ocean in the Sahara Desert, as numerous fossils of whales have been found in the sands. It is believed that 6,000 years ago trees were growing in the Sahara and there were many lakes

But looking at medieval maps, it seems that scientists are somewhat wrong in their dating. From 1492 to 1527, the entire Sahara is riddled with rivers, lakes, and many cities and towns. Since the early 18th century water bodies on the maps become significantly shallow, and the name "Sahara Desert" appears, another century later the desert becomes the Great Desert and takes its present form.

For thousands of years the Sahara was habitable, and in just 100 years part of the continent literally became extinct. Isn't that too drastic a change in climate in a single area? And what could have caused it?🤔

Remains of ancient civilizations: polished mountains with traces of machine work

Everywhere on the planet there are smoothed mountains with completely flat surfaces. People have been visiting them for several hundred years and living nearby, but few people think about how mountains can be smoothly polished by volcanic lava or weathering (according to official versions of the formation).

Note the photo below, which shows signs of the artificial origin of some of the mountains. The marks on these mountains indicate that they have been treated mechanically, and in some cases by fusion (or until the rock is still solidified after formation). The scale of the work is so great that it boggles the mind. Some people simply refuse to believe their eyes, and their brains and school knowledge block sober perception. Nevertheless, you must make an effort not to notice the obvious artificiality of some artifacts in the presence of the overall picture🤔

Francesco Guardi was an Italian painter, born in Venice, who enjoyed painting his native city in all its details🗺

The paintings are so detailed that there are a couple of questions for the artist. He painted people of unusual stature with persistence. Comparing the painting with an actual photo of the Doge's Palace, most of those painted would appear to be giants.

If you believe the art historians that the dwarfs in the picture are children, then the square has a creche - toddlers to giants knee-high (like two-year-olds), wearing jackets and discussing the latest news🤔

The 1865 Atlas shows the distribution of religions in the world🗺

Except for North America, most of modern Russia as of the mid-19th century is shown as "heathen" - pagans. Not only that, but the percentage of pagans in the world was 15.3% or 200,000,000

The wreck of the SS Karlsruhe 60m long. The ship took part in the mass evacuation of Germans from Kaliningrad (Königsberg) in April 1945 (Operation Hannibal). Researchers believe that on board was furniture from the famous Amber Room of Catherine Palace, looted by the Nazis📜

On the famous map of the Flemish traveler Mercator, the North Pole is free of ice, and in its place is a continent. Mercator himself copied the map from the walls of an Egyptian pyramid, and from the archives of the Order of the Signal he drew information about the existence of the Northern Land of the Gods - Hyperborea.

There he also found a denoscription of Mount Meru, which stated that four rivers spring from its summit, dividing the continent into four equal parts🤔

There is one impressive painting, included in an 1831 album by Faber du Faur, noscriptd "Bridge over the Koloch. The plot is simple - on a bridge over the Koloch River lie the bodies of dead soldiers of Napoleon's army. Allegedly from nature, allegedly an eyewitness.

Tell the painter that the bridge was burned during the battles, for which the soldiers under the command of Lermontov's ancestor even received a reward. And that no one could lie on the burnt bridge purely physically - there was no place. This is just a small touch to the credibility of the evidence of an eyewitness of the events📜

Artifacts of History. The stele of Pharaoh Khufu

The stele of pharaoh Khufu (Cheops) periodically appears, then disappears from the exposition of Egyptian museums and is hidden in the vaults. And the question is why? The thing is in the text, which is embossed on this stele.

This text completely contradicts the notion of official science that the largest of the Great Pyramids was built by pharaoh Khufu (Cheops). The text claims that Cheops was repairing the Sphinx because lightning struck a large sycamore tree standing next to the statue, after which the tree fell down and damaged the Sphinx.

Also, the text of this stele mentions the construction by Pharaoh Cheops of the Temple of Isis, which is next to the Great Pyramids. However, the size of this temple and the technology by which it was erected are sharply different from the technology and size of the Great Pyramids themselves. Consequently, these pyramids were not built by Cheops or other pharaohs, but long before them.

Ancient cell phone

A few years ago in Salzburg, archaeologists found an unusual object. It is a clay mold, which resembles an ordinary cell phone. The innoscriptions on the object are in cuneiform, which means that the object came to Austria from Mesopotamia. Theorists claim that the Salzburg artifact proves the existence of a time machine, and some argue that the find directly proves the existence of UFOs and that they visited the Earth in ancient times🤔

Archaeologist Zeev Herzog, one of the most famous professors of the archaeology department of Tel Aviv University, issued a shocking conclusion: After the excavations it became clear: the Israelites had never been in Egypt, had never wandered in the desert, had never conquered the land. None of the central events of Jewish history were confirmed by what we found.

Hard to grasp was the historical document that the great kingdom of David and Solomon "does not correspond to reality."

"Jerusalem is all digged up. Excavations have yielded a tremendous amount of material preceding and following the existence of David's and Solomon's kingdom. Nothing confirms the fact of its existence, not a single shard of clay. This is not to say that archaeologists were looking in the wrong place. In the days of David and Solomon, Jerusalem was a large settlement with no central temple or royal palace."🤔

In 1898 an American farmer found a stone slab with runic innoscriptions in Kensington. According to research, the slab was at least 1,000 years old. That is, in the heart of North America it came long before the arrival of Columbus🤔

The National Archives of France has posted an atlas from 1556 and everything would be fine, if not for a number of strange details

The atlas has a fairly detailed map of Antarctica, not only without the ice shell, but it is also connected to Eurasia and marked with riverbeds. The very fact that the continental outlines of the southern continent were drawn before 1556 is thought-provoking.

Not yet Drake's Strait, which was formed by a collision with a celestial body. But about it a little later.

In the Indian temple of Panchavarnaswamy, built 2,300 years ago, researcher Pravin Mohan discovered an image of a cyclist.

At first, scholars declared this bas-relief a forgery during a restoration in 1920, but research revealed no signs of forgery. This image was made during the making and processing of the column📜

Who left 2-meter-deep wheel tracks in Turkey 14 million years ago?

The "ancient road" in the Phrygian Valley is known for 2m deep wheel tracks.

The wheels are spinning, the rock and soil parts are wiped out, forming deep ruts. And now the most interesting thing - the area on the road to Phrygia has been dated to the Lower Paleocene period, and the rock structure was formed 12-14mln years ago.

It seems strange that in spite of the active life of people in this region, these layers lay millions of years ago and have not aged or grown a cultural layer. How old are these traces?🤔

Ceramic models of 3 and 4 story houses from Ecuador are essentially a sign of urban civilization📜

But archaeologists have not found such remains, because the excavated buildings are destroyed to the ground and it is difficult to judge their stories. And no excavated buildings, no evidence. The ancient people are again given the verdict "barbarians", a primitive tribe.

Ernest Vstfalen's 1741 treatise "Monumenta inedita rerum Germanorum" contains inserts from another work - the treatise of J. Chemnitz "Genealogy of the Dukes of Mecklenburg". The list of the Vendian and Obodrite princes, listed since the 5th century AD, from which the Germanic families trace their ancestry, is surprising.

Pribyslav 2 in 12 century became an ancestor of the Dukes of Mecklenburg, and among the other names of the nobility would be suspiciously many "ours": Miroslavs, Mecislav (10th c.), Vyssheslav (9th c.), a couple more Pribyslavs (with variants of name Slava was quite diverse), Svyatopolk (12th c.), Godemysl (Gostomysl) (9c), Dobemysl (Dobromysl) (9c), Radegast (7c), Vyssheslav (7-8c), Dragomir (9c), Slavor (9c), Vertislav (till 1164).

Add to this more than 700 settlements and fortresses of the Slavs in Germany, and you can safely say that the Slavs really had a good run through the world, capturing territory and founding the future of European dynasties.

If Monsieur Montferrand had a hand in something, then we can safely look for historical inconsistencies. The Tsar Bell was no exception, which Montferrand lifted from the ground and set on a pedestal

The Tsar Bell was cast in 1730. The massive construction struck traveler Edward Clarke, who in 1809 made an engraving of it. The more one looks at the engravings, the more one becomes convinced that either the bell was ruled as best they could, or the artists were blind and inattentive.

Compared to the modern depiction, the female figure changes the shape of the crown and the dress changes the style. A real fashionista. From beneath the feet of both figures disappeared the rugs that surround the entire bell... What did the rugs interfere with?

In a small village in southern India, they dug up ambiguous evidence of the catastrophe - stacked crockery in clay layers📜

Clearly, this was neither the result of a sandstorm nor the work of man, otherwise the pile would not have survived. Five-meter layers of clay in general are rarely of natural origin, and the result of human work is not often - first need to find tons of clay, drag, pour into the house, without breaking a plate ... Archaeologists, however, this does not prevent them from saying that the drifts are man-made.

In the book "Genealogy of the ancient emperors of Tartary" to the genealogical tree there is an explanation "It is not easy to name the exact date when Tartary headed all the countries between Tanais (Don) and Borisphen (Dnieper), which is called Minor Tartary". Headed all the countries? It is practically the USSR! It is clear that Tartary was not the name of the territory, but a real political entity📜

"But as for China, the war waged by Tartary with this country began 2341 years before the 1st Era (B.C.)" - not a bad military record!
And what historical data, it has always been honorable to keep information about one's history for thousands of years, but one thing, Ancient Greece, Rome and Egypt, and another thing, the territory of Slavic tribes, which up to 1000 modern historians consider no smarter than a monkey.

Table Mountain

Mount Roraima is the most famous and also the highest Venezuelan tepui (table mountain), reaching a height of 2,810 meters.

Note on the mountain that it is not only flattened on its sides, but also on top is a flat area, as if it had been cut by a huge saw.
