Near Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, there is an extensive system of underground tunnels.

A car powered by atomic energy

In 1965, Soviet scientists tested the car "Volga Atom" with an atomic engine of 320 horsepower (very much for that time). The engine weighed 500 kilograms, so the front was not 2 wheels, but 4. Such a car could be very long without refueling. The tests showed that the Volga atom travels 60 thousand kilometers without refueling. It turned out that after that the engine needed to be replaced with a new one. But Soviet scientists corrected this problem, they created an engine with gas-phase fuel in the form of uranium hexafluoride instead of solid uranium, and the new version of the car could go 40 thousand kilometers without refuelling. To refuel it was now sufficient to pump a new supply of uranium hexafluoride into the cylinders and the car would keep going.

When Khrushchev retired, the cars were dismantled and research in this field ceased.

How to recognize fake honey?

There are some simple ways to recognize whether the honey is pure or fake.
Here are some tricks and tips that can help you to check easily the honey’s purity:

-Always read the labels before you buy honey. Don’t buy it if it contains high fructose corn syrup and commercial glucose.
-Mix one tablespoon of honey into a cup of water. If it is pure, it will not dissolve in water.
-If the honey doesn’t crystallize over time, then it is not pure.
-Combine a glass of water and a couple of drops of vinegar. Add some honey to this mixture and if you see foam formation, that means that the honey is adulterated with plaster.
-Put some honey into a mixture of water and a few drops of iodine. If the honey turns blue, it is a sign of being combined with corn starch.
