Friedrich Miescher and the discovery of DNA
In 1869, the young Swiss biochemist Friedrich Miescher discovered the molecule we now refer to as DNA, developing techniques for its extraction.
Miescher harvested nuclei from pus cells in used hospital bandages. Even after becoming professor in Basel, he would toil in freezing temperatures, with laboratory windows kept open to avoid deterioration of material extracted.
You have been taught, along with the rest of us, that it was Francis Crick and James Watson who unraveled the “secret of life,” in 1953. But precisely 150 years ago, back in 1869, a 25-year-old Swiss biochemist discovered a new substance in cells, calling it nuclein. It is this substance that is now known as DNA. The biochemist is all but forgotten.
Why he became forgotten to history is likewise left undisclosed.

Let me put some thing into your perspective, animals that live in nature NEVER get sick.
They live a long and healthy lives until humans take them in their care.
Animals in the wild simply don't get sick because they are grounded 24/7, their paws are always touching the ground.
Until few years ago, there was a dog in my neighbourhood who was 2 decades old! This dog was fed by the folks but he slept and was outside 24/7, even in the Winters -10c/15f he survived it all and managed to outlive every single dog that my friends had.
The point of the story is we live our lives insulated from the earth wearing rubber shoes, living indoors etc. This causes our bodies to become depleted. Touching the ground replenishes our electron and restores our connection to the earth’s energy.
Once you walk barefoot, free electrons from the Earth are transferred into your body, which is one of the most potent antioxidants known.
