How can you tell the age of a map by eye? For example, the one in the picture shows England as a single state with Scotland, which, according to traditional history, happened in 1707. Ireland is shown as an independent state, so the period of its creation was limited to 1707-1800 (after which Ireland was part of the United Kingdom).

It would have been alright if the maker of the map - Ortelius - hadn't died back in 1598. There are two possibilities - either the map was falsified later, or history missed a couple of points🤔

The map of 1562 shows a city in the bay, which is not in the official history, but which everyone has heard about. The mysterious Vineta, which stood on the site of St. Petersburg, is mentioned in the annals as far back as the 8th century AD, but has never been found (and try to find it, if the new city was built over it). On the place of Vineta this finding is excellent, let's bet!

In 2007 an expedition organized by Lindsey on the border between China and Mongolia discovered a large section of wall dated to the period of the Han dynasty. Since then, the search for further fragments of the wall has continued and finally succeeded in finding the lost section in Mongolia✍️

The world tree is one of the central images in mythology. According to the views of the Slavs and many other peoples, the crown of the world tree goes to the heavenly, upper world, the roots symbolize the lower, underground world, and the trunk is the axis of the earthly space, where man inhabits. In 1959, a human skull was found in a cave in northern Greece, cut into the wall, which was named Petralon Archanthropus. The skull is 700,000 years old and is believed to be the oldest human remains of the Caucasoid race🤔

In 1965 Janusz Juan Moritz discovered in the middle of nowhere across the ocean an extensive system of underground communications of inconceivable antiquity.

The gigantic branching of underground roads and tunnels stretched for thousands of kilometers, passing besides Argentina also under the territory of Peru and Ecuador. The walls of the tunnels were smooth and polished, and the ceilings were flat and level, as if covered with a glaze. Passageways led to vast underground halls.

In one of the galleries, Moritz discovered twenty-kilogram books of thin metal sheets measuring 96x48 centimeters. Most surprisingly, each such page was stamped or engraved with mysterious signs. It is believed to be the library of a vanished ancient civilization.

In the 1990s, tourists in New Zealand discovered the mysterious ruins of a once gigantic structure. The rains had eroded away the soil under the roots of a huge tree and exposed part of the wall, built of rectangular stone blocks measuring 1x2 meters and weighing several tons.

There has been enough speculation about the origin of the wall; studies have shown that the structure is buried under volcanic ash and that there is a bamboo tree about 2.9 meters in circumference growing on one section of the wall. The tree is at least 50-70 years old and the eruption and the unearthed Maori stone idols may put the age of the wall back 2,000 years🧐

During bad weather, storm or tempest, they appeared on the sharp ends of masts or spires of lighthouses. They frightened and delighted at the same time, seeming interesting and alluring.

It was believed that these lights would bring a wandering ship the hope of salvation, good fortune in distant journeys, and the protection of the gods.
