When we come to the practical order, Liberalism is radical immorality [...] We may then say Liberalism: in the order of ideas it is absolute error; in the order of facts it is absolute disorder. It is therefore, in both cases a very grievous and deadly sin, for sin is rebellion against God in thought or in deed, the enthronement of the creature in the place of the Creator.

The starting point of Primordial Tradition, arose in the auroral moment of our Manvantara, is placed in the hyperborean regions in the myths of the peoples of every latitude. Vedic cosmography, in fact, recalls the primordial continent of Ilavrita at the center of which Mount Meru stands in a literally polar position, while in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition there is mention of Shambhala, a mythical land located in the extreme north of Asia in the areas surrounding the Northern Pole. In China we remember a boreal land formerly populated by "transcendent" men and a mysterious "race with soft bones”, While in Islamic gnosis, as the orientalist Henry Corbin points out, we find the “heavenly earth” -Hurqalya- also located in the far north, with clear paradisiacal and polar characteristics.

Then there is the Greek tradition with Thule and the mythical people of the Hyperboreans, the Norse one that recalls Asgard, the Persians with the original land Ayrianem Vaejo, while the various Mesoamerican peoples hint at a Tula with similar characteristics. However, they are increasingly mixed and confused mythologies, in which it is not always easy to understand whether the evoked land of origin concerns the single ethnic group in question or the totality of mankind, as well as whether it represents the truly primordial homeland of the beginning cycle or a secondary and more recent center. Evola also warns - very often the memories tend to overlap, as perhaps in the case of the Ilavrita, literally polar, with the subsequent simply Nordic Uttarakuru, or even with the same Tula/Thule which, already hyperborean, in the Hellenic myth identify with a land located instead in the North Atlantic and corresponding to the island of Ogygia.

“The mistake most made to extinguish the true feeling of beauty is that which confuses what pleases and what is beautiful, or, in other words, what pleases the senses and what pleases the intelligence. The beautiful in all imaginable genres is what pleases enlightened virtue. Any other definition is false or insufficient. Why then should the nun be less beautiful than the nymph? Because she's dressed maybe?

But by what immoral blindness do we still want to judge representation other than reality? Who does not know that divined beauty is more alluring than visible beauty? What man has not noticed, and ten thousand times, that the woman who determines to satisfy the eye more than the imagination lacks taste even more than wisdom. Vice itself rewards modesty by exaggerating the charm of what it conceals.”

~ Joseph de Maistre, Examen de la philosophie de Bacon, 1836.
"If you hear that someone blaspheming God at a crossroads or on a square, go and rebuke him. And if it is necessary to strike him, do not refuse, strike him in the face, break his mouth, sanctify your hand with a blow; and if they take you to court to accuse you, then go!

And if the judge demands an answer before the judgment, boldly say that he blasphemed the King of angels, for if those who blaspheme the earthly king should be punished, then those who offend Him (God) are much more. The crime is of one kind, a public insult, anyone who wants can be the accuser.

Let both Jews and Greeks know that Christians are the guardians, protectors, rulers and teachers of the city; and let the Liberals and Libertines learn the same thing, that it is they who should fear the servants of God, so that if they ever want to say something like that, they look around everywhere and tremble, fearing how a Christian would not have overheard, attacked, and severely beaten him."

"Nationalism and the nation are deeply and organically linked, and there is an interdependent relationship between the two phenomena in terms of cause and effect. Nationalism is the cause and nation is the consequence. Nationalism is the father or mother, and the nation is its child."

We all long for Eden, and we are constantly glimpsing it: our whole nature at its best and least corrupted, its gentlest and most human, is still soaked with the sense of exile.

"This "justification by faith alone" and the ensuing condemnation of the power of "works" led Luther to attack the monastic life and the ascetical life, which he called "vain and hopeless," thus deterring Western man from pursuing those residual possibilities of reintegration available in the contemplative life that Catholicism had preserved and that had produced figures like Bernard of Clairvaux, Jan van Ruysbroeck, Bonaventure, and Meister Eckhart." - Julius Evola, Revolt Against the Modern World

“There is a superior unity of all those who despite all, fight in different parts of the world the same battle, lead the same revolt, and are the bearers of the same intangible Tradition. These forces appear to be scattered and isolated in the world, and yet are inexorably connected by a common essence that is meant to preserve the absolute ideal of the Imperium and to work for its return.” - Julius Evola, Men Among the Ruins

This sweet country that is Portugal – small in Europe, large and dilated on other continents, like a tree that, feeding on the Lusitanian sap, spread long branches to different suns and under its shade sheltered the most diverse populations, all equally Portuguese –, this small country cannot, in the 9th century of its history, doubt its reality as a nation. This reality, in which we encompass independence, organic unity and the civilizing mission, is a presupposition or starting point from which all discussion escapes. And hence this corollary: anyone who is not a patriot cannot be considered Portuguese."
