Massage of Scientific Secretaries :Personalized Medicine: the most effective way to evaluate which medical treatments will suit best for each patient

The 2018 Conference is jointly organized by the Iran University of Medical Sciences and National Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology
Personalized medicine is an evolving field which makes the transition from a one-size-fits-all world to one that is based on delivering the right treatment and drug to the right patient at the right time. The concept of personalized medicine provides the best tools for physicians to apply diagnostic tests to identify specific biological markers, often genetic, that help determine which medical treatments and procedures will work best for each patient. In this new field of medical science, targeted and effective therapy, reduces side effects and prevention plans might be named as some of the personalized medicine achievements. Over recent years pharmacogenomics that uses an individual’s genome to provide a more informed and tailored drug prenoscription has been developed extensively which help prevent adverse events, allow for appropriate dosages, and create maximum efficacy with drug prenoscriptions. Heavy investments in pharmaceutical industries to make effective drugs which suit the genetic make-up and individual’s circumstances of the patients reflects the need to transform approaches of health care system. Preventive care might be the ultimate goal of personalized medicine to be achieved which would be possible by using genotyping for many diseases like different cancers and metabolic disorders.

📢مصرف آنتی بیوتیک در ایران
🔸سالی با آنتیبیوتیک کمتر را آغاز کنیم
⭕️ براساس گزارشی که سال ۱۳۹۳/۲۰۱۴ ازسوی سازمان جهانی بهداشت منتشر شد ایران از نظر میزان مصرف آنتیبیوتیک بین کشورهای منطقه مدیترانه شرقی و خاورمیانه در رتبه نخست و در آسیا پساز چین، در رتبه دوم قرار دارد. پژوهشی که درباره ساختار کلی فروش داروهای ضدباکتری در ایران بین سالهای ۱۳۸۸-۱۳۷۹ انجام شد، نشان داد در این دوره متوسط استفاده از این نوع داروها ۴۶/۸دوز روزانه بوده و میزان مصرف از ۳۹/۱دوز در ۱۳۷۹ تا ۵۱/۸ در ۱۳۸۸ افزایش یافته است، یعنی ۳/۳درصد رشد. بر اساس این پژوهش دلیل اصلی افزایش استفاده از آنتیبیوتیکها در ایران کمبودن قیمت آنهاست.
⭕️ درحالحاضر در ایران استفاده از نسل سوم آنتیبیوتیکهایی مانند سفالوسپورین، کوئینولونها و پنیسیلین بهحالت هشدار درآمده است. آمارها نشان میدهد ایران بهطور کلی جزو بیست کشور اول دنیا در مصرف دارو است و میانگین رشد مصرف دارو در ایران ۱۱/۵درصد و ۹درصد از میانگین جهانی بیشتر است. همچنین مصرف آنتیبیوتیک در ایران ۱۶برابر استاندارد جهانی است. ازسوی دیگر بهدلیل مصرف بیرویه این دارو در ایران سالانه ۴۰۰میلیون تومان هدر میرود.
