🚨 BitSong Community Announcement 🚨

Following the recent chain upgrade that was performed a few minutes ago, we have identified an issue with the packet forwarder middleware. Specifically, if you attempt to transfer tokens from BitSong to another chain, you will encounter an error. However, transfers from Osmosis to BitSong are functioning correctly.

To clarify:
- Not Working: BitSong -> Other Chain
- Working: Internal transfers within BitSong, or from Other Chain -> BitSong

We are actively working to resolve this issue and will keep you updated on our progress.

Dear Community,

As you may have noticed in a previous communication, during the update that took place on August 20th, transfers from BitSong to other chains were not working.

The issue has been promptly resolved. However, in order to unlock the transfers, validators need to carry out a new update scheduled for today around 12:45 UTC (approximately 2 hours from now).

During the update process, the BitSong blockchain will be stopped, so it will not be possible to make any transactions. The update should last a few minutes. Only in some particular cases might the update take a few hours.

We advise you not to make any transactions and to wait for further communication from us.
