Right, that’s a public link. Private links are usually in the form t.me/+randomletters or t.me/joinchat/randomletters. Many spammers use public links to make their posts look more legitimate. This particular link has already been added to the filtering system.

As a side note, we’re looking at adding a dedicated command for local banning – ie, a ban that only affects the group in which it was issued. This will likely be made available with other chat management features that we’ll be rolling out over the coming months.

It’s there. Night Owl received a warning and was later banned.

Most of these are from someone who has invested into bit.ly links. Before HAL was in our chat that's what was plaguing us.

You shared a post from “The Secret Judge Q”, which is part of a network of channels that spam groups HAL is in. That's what got you banned. The post itself is harmless, and so I’ll unban you, but recommend you read this, specifically the fifth paragraph, which is part of the same network of channels.
