Dear brothers and sisters, athletes, coaches, officials, boxing veterans, and everyone who lives and breathes our great sport!

On behalf of IBA and personally, I warmly congratulate you on the New Year!

The outgoing year has been a time of challenges, growth, and new opportunities for the sport of boxing. Once again, the IBA Boxing Family has proven that boxing is not just a sport — it is a school of character, discipline, and respect. In the ring and beyond, we have stood up for honesty, fairness, and equal opportunities for all athletes, regardless of the country or continent they represent.

We have been through a great deal together, and today IBA is truly in its Golden Era. This is the result of our joint work and our shared belief in boxing and in one another. In the New Year, we will not stop — we will continue to do everything possible to develop our sport, support athletes, and move forward with confidence.

I sincerely thank everyone who contributes to the development of boxing: athletes — for their courage and dedication; coaches — for their wisdom and patience; official — for their integrity; National Federations — for their cooperation and belief in our common future; and fans — for their unwavering support. Together, we are making boxing stronger, cleaner, and more popular around the world.

May 2026 bring you good health, new victories, confidence in your abilities, and inspiration for great achievements. May every gym be filled with a spirit of unity, and every tournament with respect and fair competition. May challenges make you stronger, goals draw closer, and dreams become reality.

Happy New Year! Peace, kindness, and prosperity to you and your families. We go far and beyond — to new heights in global boxing! And remember: together, everything is possible.

Sincerely,
Umar Kremlev
President of the International Boxing Association (IBA)
