Truckers are blocking traffic in both directions on the Ambassador Bridge linking Detroit to Windsor!
Wellington Street in Ottawa is FEDERAL ground, and so it falls on LIMITED rights from the CHARTER only which is WHY the RCMP have jurisdiction.
If the truckers remain BEHIND that line they will be on PROVINCIAL ground, subject ONLY to the CANADIAN BILL OF RIGHTS, and where the RCMP has NO JURISDICTION.
Remember these laws are the reason tent-city occupations lasted so long in places like Victoria BC, they occupied parks at provincial courts and other places under provincial jurisdiction.
