I'll keep saying it until I'm blue in the face. It comes down to dollar devaluation. The ticking time bomb of a debt-based fiat currency with no intrinsic monetary backing. The only solution is abolishing the Federal Reserve and putting the US dollar back on the gold standard. Until that happens it will only continue to get worse.

Economically illiterate socialists use arguments like the original one pictured to demand raises to the minimum wage, but contrary to their reactionary thinking raising wages of an already debased and valueless fiat currency will only exacerbate the crisis.

Outside of deliberately opaque the government jargon, these principles are simple to understand. Free people and free markets create prosperity. Government intervention in markets create scarcity and poverty.
