An official declaration has been issued by Wakefield Council listing all the candidates for the upcoming by-election.
We now know who we will be up against on Thursday 23rd June.
Old-Gang parties standing in the Wakefield by-election include the Conservative Party, Labour Party, Liberal Democrats and the Green Party.
Populist parties standing include Reform UK, the English Democrats and UKIP.
Minor parties include the Freedom Alliance, the Christian People's Alliance, the Northern Independence Party and the Yorkshire Party.
